Some great offers their as the games are recent and add great value to the cards, so don't miss out on this unbeatable value OcUK is offering. :)

Not too long before we see some ;) posts methinks...

Yup, increasing frequency of deals of certain brands of cards says to me, hold on for the new ones, not spend as much money on these as possible.

Gibbo, not to complain, but you guys wouldn't start doing deals without all the specifications bits as well. Its not so bad when its only 4-5 deals but those 30-40 items TWO deals are frankly horrible to read, forever scrolling.

The name of each item and a pic is more than enough, all the specifics are listed in the links anyway and the vast majority of this forum knows the vast majority of the specs anyway.

The posts just get painfully long(yes the irony, I know :p ) to scroll/read through.

Without specs and more as a list would be far more readable ;)

Mid December at the earliest and likely a paper launch at that or limited stock, not until Jan/Feb for good volumes of new lines. :)
Also the first new cards will be flagship cards too.

NOoooooooo.............................too expensive, want mid range first goddammit. Rant over. Dont see any incentive to buy these cards, gonna be tough to sell cards for the next month or so. Competitor doing a quality brand 560Ti with no games at a good price, way to go maybe but with the new cards coming I'm waiting.;)

Really?

Last two weeks we've seen record sales on VGA, certainly zero issues with selling product at the moment. :)

Special offers are always ongoing all the time whether or not a product just being released, is mid-way through its life cycle or approaching the end of its life cycle, the deals never stop.

Good to know from your point of view then Gibbo really dont want you guys to be struggling. I dont know if I'm wrong but it just seemed that a couple of months ago the 2Gb 6950 were commonly on TWO and regularly under £200 but not now £230-£240 with games maybe but I'd rather see some bare cards at reduced prices. Good to know Ocuk are doing well though and still my favourite etailer.;)

The 6950 is in shortage, hence higher prices typically and 6970 is very tight and 6990 is finished. This is why prices have gone up, basically supply and demand.

hmm I see adding the gams to the msi lightning has increased the price by £10, thought it was ment to be £290 pre-order but now £300.

or was it ment to come with the games anyway as the pic in http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18336066 shows both games.

also with the icq 6950 don't think the people who bought it over the last couple of day(especially last night) would be too happy, not getting bf3 especially those who want the game.

It was £289 with no games, though the image was displaying Deus Ex by mistake and was very cheap. Its now £299 with two games which between the two of them are worth circa £40-£50.

Great news Gibbo I'll be in the market for a high end card to power the Hazro :) Going for a first time launch day purchase, don't forget to give the forum faithful a heads up ;)

PS: also agree with DM re. the less detail in the forum posting of TWO.

hehe, that doesn't mean there is incentive, just most people don't seem to get that £200 now on a card which will have a replacement in a month is just a bad idea. Meh, if sales dropped massively AMD/Nvidia in these situations might delay products to help give stock time to clear first so people buying at the wrong time help those of us looking for the new gen anyway ;)

Then again its not surprising there's record sales, BF3, Skyrim, MW3(ok not really performance needing but most people think new AAA title, time for new gpu), compared to any other time of year those 3 games were always going to have enthusiasts deciding to pick up new cards before the release.

Seems like you guys haven't seen the store's own TWO page...

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/thisweek.php

Those text links at the top underneath the TWO banner (Cable, Components, Consoles etc) jump down to the relevant section to reduce scrolling even more should you wish to skip some bits.

That page is advertised on the store front, right-hand column and 3rd box down. Could probably be linked to in the forum TWO postings to make even more people aware of it it seems :)

Yeah, that doesn't make the first post in this thread more readable, nor the TWO threads. Because thats what we have pointed out the THREADS for deals on the forum(because a huge number of people check the forum every day but rarely check the store) will first see a deal on here. But the posts are painfully long/big text/picture that its actually harder to get through the threads than is necessary.

I mentioned the TWO threads as they normally have far more items than this thread which makes them almost horrendous to get through, all the deal threads would be improved with less text what's on offer + picture is ample. If it has to be spec's, something like the clock speed line for overclocked graphics cards is all people really need, 2gb is in the name, brand, type of core, etc, thats all pretty common knowledge but I wouldn't know the clock speed of a MSI lightning edition off the top of my head, 2gb, amd, 1536 cores, 3d/eyefinity are all standard and just take up space.
