Its like they took several cliches and annoying gameplay mechanics and bunged them into a boring SP mode, yeah it looked nice but that was about it.

Same here, ive played the train part and the bit were you deploy in iraq, rpg attack. Quit and went online. Done the same with bfbc2, (intro level) and moh.

Is there a bf3 configurator yet like there was with bfbc2? Where you could change ingame settings within windows like vehicle sense soldier sense etc?

If so anyone got a link?
 
Wish i could play bf3 without a browser because i notice when i have a browser open and trying to play a game it lags a bit but with the browser off its a lot better performance wise ingames.

Start the game then close the browser? There's nothing making you keep it up once in.

Triple buffering is built into BF3.

Triple buffering is a superior alternative to vsync. Not sure why you think the two should work at the same time.
 
Was just on a wierd server, which along with having the rule where ur not allowed to kill people with RPG's :rolleyes:, I kept randomly dying.
I would be playing as normal then all of a sudden I be looking at the death screen. No explosions, no gun shots, no loss of health. Fine 1 minute, then dead the next. :confused:
Also the person who kept killing me, I couldn't see his name on the scoreboard.

You only need to re-download the parts you don't already have/that are corrupted, and backup is there if you select "Keep game installers after games have been installed" in the options.

Also, you can copy the files on to another PC, but as with Steam, there's a particular way to do it. Think someone in this thread got told how to do it by EA online help if memory serves.

How about start a game, alt-tab then close the browser then click game on task bar or alt-tab again to get back to it :) You can close the browser once game has loaded up. So you can play without a browser when its loaded, so whats the prob dude?
