Out of interest, does anyone know of any pencil that exists, that is the same traditional structure as an HB - wooden/chewable whilst thinking etc... yet is mechanical internally? so works the same way a mechanical pencil would?

Sorry Tefal - I know your on about something metallic but we don't know about it here on this thread?
I often use pencils, but propelling ones.
C'mon - are you seriously suggesting that pencils are damaging the ecosystem?
One of the most tragic and ridiculous uses of rainforest wood is for pencils. But the reality is that many of the pencils used in the U.S. are made from an endangered rainforest wood called jelutong. Jelutong is logged from the rainforests of Indonesia and Malaysia. You can tell it apart from the usual incense cedar because it’s lighter in color, has no grain and the pencil will bend a little. It’s very common in imported pencils. But some U.S. companies import jelutong blanks to use to manufacture pencils.
I've read that five times and still don't know what it means. >.<
What do you need to write on that's metallic and why.
Are you basically asking for a mechanical pencil that you can chew?
Also, how the hell would you have a wooden mechanical pencil, where would the mechanism and spring etc go?
*edit* After a quick google, they do exist, sort of.
What is this pencil you speketh of?![]()
An upgrade to the Quill and ink that your language suggests you use

Apparently 100 million pencils are made in the US per year and tha's just the US. Now i don't know if we import from there. But i did say i would guess that pencils are less EF, i didn't say that i have hard facts. So yes it looks like pencils do destroy the ecosystem of the rainforests, i think it's a fair assumption.
I am going to erase you and pretend this didn't happen![]()
Awh but this post was your 11111th!
(I have no idea how this is relevant to the thread, but thought I'd point it out)
