Is this a real girl, or a lie?

No-one wants to take the bet :(

Which was a blessing in disguise really .. as it's dropped to a dismal 92% .. (I'd have let any 'judge' actualy log in to my account to prove no photoshopping if someone had taken the bet! Then promptly lost the bet, and given them a £30 game! :) )

Mine from about 10 years ago is at 9.6, do I win?

I also *know* companys rely on employees loyalty to keep them poorly paid for years and the company will show them no such return of loyalty if the tables are turned. They'll just make you redundant. So why do suckers give their company loyalty -- not even looking at the market or what they could get .. then moaning about being on 18K. If you don't like it -- GO AND CHANGE IT. YOURSELF!

Therefore I believe changing jobs quite regularly and always checking the market is essential to reach your potential earning. Working 16 hours for 10 hours pay is not. If you do this 'to make a good impression' - the boss just thinks you're the sucker .. and laughs about it to his mates down the pub.

So contracting is perfect for me.

This is actually really good advice. With some resilience, tenacity, drive and ambition and the self-belief that you can do better, you actually can.

Company loyalty is not what it once was either and companies regularly will harvest every ounce of work effort out of you for the minimal pay possible if they can.

Personal life .. well .. as long as your family is more important to you than yourself, and you're a nice guy that never hurts anyone, I reckon anyone'll do OK. I fundamentally reckon almost everyone on the planet is deep-down nice. Having friends and people that like me is *major* important in my life - give self-affirmation. So I've always put a lot of effort into it.

That was kinda deep.

So what you are saying is all your threads like these are just about having a bit of a laugh and bit of fun and you don’t actually expect us to take you seriously, but you would like us to like you?

Well ok, as i've said i'm an open minded bloke. Qudos for being on cam for a bit, yes he has the Computer setup and Football shirt, thats all real. Seem like a likeable and harmless if a little excitable fella. Your Misses and baby are lovely BTW.

I thought it was only far to show you my setup in return, I have both consoles and an Alienware PC as i'm a semi-serious gamer.

But yeah, he put his money where his mouth is

That's a good start.

You're turning into some kind of britboy fanboy now. Are you really that foolish?

No, but considering britboy gets a lot of stick already for whatever he writes (sometimes necessary) posting a video on youtube of him on skype is a bit unfair without his permission and is borderline bullying.

What are you doing chatting to young girls and sharing photos with them and then posting about them on OCUK (just to try and show off, which failed, because you are Britboy) if you are a) Old and b) in a committed relationship. Why didn't you ask your other half if this girl is real :p

So, let me get this right - you were bullied for years at school considering your self-admitted 'George Doors' appearence and frame .. you're a girl, and you think 'TO THE INTERWEBZ FOR SOME BULLYINGZ OF MY OWN, BRITBOY SEEMS LIKE A TARGET'??

Like those kids that abuse and go on to abuse .. wow .. I feel like DR Phil.

Seriously .. trust me .. this internet bullying thing this ain't your gig - you're not 'snappy' enough .. it's hard to explain, but trust me .. move on! (I don't know whether to laugh or cry ... )but I'll go for 'laughing'.

Disagree, plenty of good strong companies offer loyalty, it's those floundering or in the public sector that offer little in the way of incentive. Time and again I've thought about the contracting route as a permanent role (permanent being the operative word), but actually, there is very little contracting can offer me over my current employment, so it's not worth it.
