I suppose if you could just throw it down and step back it would be overpowered, but you have to risk running off so it makes it a bit more risky(i ran quite a way though).

I think it takes 2 doesn't it?

I know that it took 2 in bc2 to take out a tank, took me a bit of trial and error working it out, because i got run over so many times.

can someone help me decide on a mic for chatting on bf3? i have a decent set of cans seinheizer and just want a desktop mic fro under a tenner really. if i was going to spend much more id sell my headphones and buy a px21 set.
Not sure what i need or quality wise. its only for bf3 not anything else. im fed up typing. lol

Zalman ZM-MIC1 Microphone Is very good, it will either clip onto your headphone lead or I have mine clipped onto my keyboard cable and it picks up fine, can be had for less than £10

Just had a well fun game, had a really good pilot in one of those passenger heli things. Same pilot and me with randoms jumping in and out managed to keep it in the air for at least 10 minutes. Mid air repairs ***!

Anyone know though why the last few games I have played (one last night) on the PC Format server don't appear to be showing on my profile. I have had two good games on there and got a bunch of unlocks which are showing when I go into the weapons section but no where else.

2 takes it to 4hp if it starts on 100hp. So you run the risk that the engineer can still jump out and repair it. It takes 3 to blow it up from 100 % to 0 %.

Asus gtx 460 1gb default clocks were erm 675 or somit i overclocked it to 800/1000/1600 or somit and was fine but for safe overclock i backed it down a touch so its that little extra stable so i run it 790/1000/1584 or somit. Mem is really 2000 but msi afterburner is 1000, goes up when you game i think i.e doubles it

Cool, I overclocked it to 850/1700 (didn't OC the mem so stock 2000) and have noticed nice increase in sustained framerate. I'm getting 50fps+ more now than sub 50s and it's a lot smoother and I've been able to enable more options too.

Quite happy with that!

I also noticed that GPU VRAM usage is very low but system RAM usage is very high, 1.9GB!

Needless to say, I will not be needing a GFX card upgrade after all now :) I will however, buy an SSD to improve load times :p

Edit*
Cheers for the tip, I probably never would have looked at OCing the GFX :p

850 is a nice overclock man. :)

Did you up the volts at all?

Did you furmark benchmark it to see if its stable or heaven benchmark? When i had it to 850 furmark was ok but saw red light flickers in heavens benchmark tho might have gone if i altered the volts but i didnt want to so went back to 800 ish.

Nice oc, just got a gigabyte one today, 715mhz factory oc model, hope i can eek something more from it.

I've not run Furmark or Heaven really but I have played an hour or so tonight and saw no problems at all so I think I shall keep it this way for the time being hehe.

Cheers, TBH all I did was Google some reviews and took note of what they overclocked the same model card to and just put mine to the same :p I don't want to faff around with testing at 5MHz increments etc as I had enough of that with the i5 so kind of jumped right in!

I find that mesh quality really hits my FPS, with my 6950 i have most on ultra, 16xAF and HBAO on and i fluctuate between 50 and 60, usually 60 constant except for Caspian Border.

had some fun games on Bronken just now, managed to take out a Heli with the MG on the tank:D Also keep getting AT mine kills, it is somewhat cheap i suppose but they are very easy to combat tbh. Was getting a small amount of lag unfortunately but i think it might be my Internet tbh, it has been a bit slow today for some reason.

Really annoying, took out StonedPenguin in the tank, then seconds later went over his mine:o I bet you were watching the killcam shouting "just a bit further"! LOL:D
