lol wish I could drop money on two Alienware laptops just for a game, definitely more money than sense since he's clearly several apples short of a bushel.
 
First mission after train intro i get 45fps to 70fps or so but seems mainly 45fps but can dip a little to 35fps.

1920x1080
All high except shadow to medium
AA Def - Off
AA post - low
Motion blur - off
AF - 16x
AO - Off
FOV 78 (is this right fov for my res and 24in mon?)
Vsync off
d3d overider tripple buffering on


Anything i can do to up my fps to min of 60fps? As i thought ppl were getting good fps on systems like mine at near max detail i.e few ultra but mainly high.
 
No point putting triple buffering on if you aren't using vsync, but apart from that, there's virtually nothing you can do. Your system's too old to be able to run it anywhere near ultra.

on the origin login screen there's a "sign me in as invisible" tick box ;) log out, uncheck, log in.... jobs a good un!
 
Ive started having graphical issues over the last two days. Seemingly at random, several times throughout a game, the players and my gun will just disappear only to reappear a minute or so later (by which time im usually dead as i end up bumping into an invisible enemy!)

Is this something any of you have had a problem with? I guess what Im asking is whether it is my pc or the game/servers?

A friend of mine told me that his russian key got removed from his account,

When he asked EA support why they said that the key hadn't been removed and it was still showing on his account but they are implementing something that will only let russian keys be used using a russian IP address, He can see it if he uses a vpn but it's way to slow to actually play online

Couldn't he just launch the game with a VPN then switch it off?

Is there a lesson here, in a possible attempt to save a few quid the game is either unavailable or now unplayable due to having to connect through VPNs to play. Will he be buying another copy?

ridiculous....
there was a time when these keys would have came on a multi region dvd.

yea the lesson is EA are *****

at the very least they should offer the people with russian keys a chance to change there russian version of the game for an english one for £10 or something which is about the difference anyway.

anyway its not just a small number of people who bought russian keys its going to be atleast 10% of pc users even on this forum atleast 50 people bought russian keys

yeah this frustrates me sometimes as well. Needs to be fine tuned a little.
