Southern Meet(Newbury) - 13th November 2011 (aka OcUK November Pride drive)

£6k is not a great deal of money for a mod? Hmmm not sure I would be wanting to do that, would much rather put it towards another car/house.

What did the Monaro cost in the first place?

£16000. But that's irrelevant to me, as the performance upgrade while still being a Monaro means more to be. I doubt I'd want anything else short of a true supercar.

Also it's not just a single mod that's long tube headers, supercharger, remap, over the rad cold air induction, injectors, intercooler and of course I could always get a second hand charger for around £4000. £6000 was just a general figure.

Costs around the same as charging the Boxster. Only most people I can find that have done it are us based. and the kit for everything is $10k

Wow, £22000.. that's a lot! It wouldn't be my choice but you do seem to like it :p

On another note, I just put a deposit down on the CL55 AMG. Unfortunately, Mercedes need to service it first, so I can't get it before Sunday :(

The best friend that never was, comes to mind :p

I know i am being a mug, and i don't like her that way (anymore). Hell, I even asked her out once years ago but she said no! Funny story that followed (I'll let Ex-fat boy tell you :p) but long story short is that she is a good friend, and I am doing the right thing and being a friend there to support her. Her home and her other friends are at the other side of the country.

Still, yes, I know, it all sound very gay :p

Lame... no roller then? I am dissapoint.

Mind you a 600 bhp (after a remap) merc is not to be sniffed at. Whats the insurance like on that bad boy in London?

Is it the supercharged version PMKeates?
Ofc :p

5.5 V8 Kompressor, 500 HP / 700 Nm. I will remap it pretty soon to ~540 HP / ~755 Nm. The pulley upgrade takes it to ~600 HP / ~820 Nm but I probably won't bother. It's a big cruiser with a powerful engine and massaging seats rather than a sports car.
afaik all the 55/63's are, it's the 65's that have twin turbos
63 was a NASP. You basically had 55 + 63 before the facelift, then 55K + 65 twin turbo after.
