Up to you

Even as a warrior, you only need to specialize in one weapon type and heavy armor, then you can mix in some magic to.

You just need to remember that you will only get around 50-75 perks in one game, so you have a lot of options, but only very few that you can actually pick.

I love how random the Elder Scrolls games can be. I was just making my way somewhere when I noticed an area of the ground was on fire for no obvious reason. I walked over to investigate and still I couldn't see the cause of the fire. I take a look at what seems to be a burnt log but realise it's actually a burnt corpse with a "flame cloak" spell book next to it

Same happened with me and my GTX470. Set it to Ultra with 4xAA and am getting 60fps most of the time. I think the game must not be very optimised, though, because it doesn't exactly look mind-blowing, yet in some scenes for seemingly no reason my fps drops to the low 50s and even high 40s on the odd occasion (annoyingly this is mostly indoors where I thought I should be getting much higher fps compared to outdoors). Afterburner is reading 99% GPU as the max its recorded, but I haven't actually bothered to see what it's doing in-game. Maybe I should, as low GPU usage would explain things.

I spoke to the person on the phone and told him that I could think of 5 people on this forum (counting whilst I was on phone) who had not received their preorder copy. My postman delivered at same time as phone call and no copy received. The person apologised and said he was going to check with Royal Mail.

He said I could return my copy if I was not happy. I said no it's okay. I can wait... but if you guys want to cancel, you can.

Currently a level 5 Dark elf,
Just joined the thieves guild, and whilst doing some side quests got a bit of intel about the dark brotherhood, but I won't spoil it for you lot.

Only played for a few mins but its like Oblivion 2.0 in some ways same flat graphics, but less of a mess. Menus are confusing. Lots of noticeable bugs. But I'm liking it.

Regarding the issue of Co op / multiplayer, heres a quote from Todd Howard:

"We always look into multiplayer, put lots of ideas on the whiteboard and it always loses. It's not that we don't like it. I can think of ways it would be a lot of fun."
According to Howard. creating multiplayer would also pull the development team from the single-player portion of the game and jeopardise the quality of the solo experience.

"At the end of the day, that dev time is going to take away from doing the best single-player game we can, and that's where our hearts are."

They want to focus on TES being the best single player game they can make, and thats how I want it.

Everyone wanting co op / multiplayer aspects in TES will only ruin one of the only games I have left to enjoy! :mad:

I only just finished doing loads of stuff in the first village, I'm playing really slowly and mostly running around in the game and playing the game as it happens

NO OTHER GAME IS LIKE THIS ANYMORE, NO CO OP, NONE NONE NONE EVER IN TES :mad:

Have you looked at the tweak thread on the front page?

There are some options there too try if your having issues

Thats because youre using a mouse, you should try with a 360 pad

I managed to get alt-tab working, if it helps, and assuming it'll work for you too.

1. Alt tab out of the game
2. Click on the icon in the task bar and you'll get a black bordered screen
3. Press alt tab again to shift focus to something else, but black screen stays on
4. Click the icon in the bar again and it'll go back to the game
