The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

Hmmm, but I swear my greatsword does more damage than my perked fire spells do :p

BTW why do people want to turn off Vsync?
How far into the destruction tree have you gotten? I found they started out strong and ended up being so good I ended up making a new melee character because of it. Had to kite occasionally of course.

I wasn't using fire at the end, i dual cast frost spells as it made kiting so easy and their movement so slow.

Am in the same boat but with a 6970, hope it will be fixed with new drivers maybe?

Theres nothing wrong with single ATI / AMD cards:

If you have performance issues, unless you are using crossfire check your CPU:

965 [email protected], but it can't make that much difference, i am playing at half the resolution of those benchmarks.

Well if your playing at half the resolution I strongly doubt its your 6950 thats causing the problems ;)

It isn't the graphical quality that is low, the game looks absolutely stunning, it is only the FPS dips(which happen on my monitor and TV at different resolutions, bizarrely with very little difference between them)

It'll make a difference but not that much. There are people with i5-7's clocked to 4.5+ having fps of 30 ish with top end cards on both amd/nvidia so you're not alone.

In Skyrim? :x

What is so wrong with other peoples computers that isnt wrong with mine? :p

I have no idea fella, my card is crappy and is doing better than some of them with top end systems. The biggest gripe is that the game is only using 30% of both CPU and GPU while giving them crap fps.

I'm running this on a 5770 maxed out. I get a little bit of FPS slow-down every now and then, but nothing that adversely affects gameplay. Although I'm starting to think my crappy old monitor that suffers from backlight bleed just isn't doing the game any justice, if it wasn't for the fact that I need a new car, I'd upgrade right away.

Ok I dont get this, when I right click on the image it says 1280 width, but its filling up all of my 1920x1200 width and requiring me to scroll to view it all
