What the hell is up with the price of RVP nowadays?! I bought him near the start of UT 12 for about 65K and I just paid exactly the same amount for him just now. He has two IF's and the standard card is still ridicu-priced. :mad:

Think I'mma save up for IF Vermaelen, looks like he'll be great value.
 
Just got IF Taylor and Higuain in the same pack!

I've just turned off, Mrs is back soon and I'm gonna pretend I haven't been playing fifa the whole time so can't - tomorrow if you're aboot :)
 
So I'm in a tournament match and was facing a serie A team with the likes of IF Marchiso, IF Maggio, IF Cavani, Pato, etc. Was a way stronger team than mine. I scored in the 7th minute and he gave up and would boot the ball out or boot the ball away whenever he had possession, he would defend properly tho until I went 3-0 up, he then tried to injure my players and getting 2 of his players sent off in process. Went on to beat him 6-0, not once did he pause the game or be a general arse.

Anyone experience this? I was paranoid that it was some YouTube guy making a video of him coming back from 4-0 or something. :p

Wait until after the international break when RVP picks up a scratch on his knee and is out for 3 months then his price will drop :p

IF Vermaelen does look like an absolute beast. Last time I looked he was on for about 60-70k!

Had another scammer try and get my info. Said he would give me 5 free gold packs if I complied. lol.

As soon as you get on the leaderboards, you get spammed.
 
Right, dilema. Think i've hit a bit of a brickwall with my team, only real upgrades are going to cost serious money.

What do you guys recommend?

1. Replacing Neymar with IF or SIF Neymar.
2. Replacing Bastos with IF Nene.
3. Maybe replacing Lucio with IF Naldo?

Or just save the money... haha.

Swaying more towards the IF Nene route as Bastos' shooting is starting to grate on me a bit.
 
IF Nene might be worth a try, standard Nene isn't any better than Bastos though in my experience, so I'm not sure how much improvement the IF will be. Don't think the IF Neymar is much better than the standard card, a few people on here have said he was a waste of money. Lucio is better than IF Naldo so I would save your coins.

If you're trying to upgrade a Brazilian team then there isn't really any scope for improvement once you have the best standards, the majority of the IF's released so far don't offer a huge improvement over the standard card, the difference between quite a few of them is negligible at best. I'd probably say something like:

GK: Helton
LB: Dani Alves
CB: Lucio
CB: Thiago Silva
RB: Maicon

LM: Bastos
CM: IF Ramires
CM: Diego/Kaka/Hernanes/IF Thiago Neves
RM: Hulk

ST: Pato
ST: Neymar

Probably one of the better Brazil teams one could put out. Not much scope for improvement if you already have those players in one form or another.

^ pretty much my squad. I hate playing people out of position so Marcelo is LB and Maicon is RB. Might hold off and save some coins then.

Thought Diego Alves was the best keeper? Is Helton worth it?

Fabio is apparently the best keeper, but I'm not getting drawn into this discussion again. Alvez is awesome for me.

Start building another team, Brasilvers are great and you'll beat the majority of golds with them too but i just stuck to silver tournys. Or make a Serie A side and integrate some Brazilians.
