Hmm 50+ days on COD1 does that mean I get a say and that would be that I agree with oneshot.

Loving the single player and survivor mode, not convinced of multiplayer yet. Far too many people who just sit in a corner and pick you off as soon as a pixel of your skin comes round the corner. Maps are too complicated for most of the modern warfare lot to handle methinks.

anyone noticed on hcsd when you kill somebody you can hear them for about 5 seconds before they have to wait for game to end.Its so funny listening to them complain

Is this in all game modes? I can't tell whether i can hear the people i kill or its someone on my team chatting - its usually an insult and it happens after i kill someone but it could just be coincidence!
I'm a bit disappointed Dead Silence isn't much of a counter to the Recon perk it only reduces the paint time to 5 seconds. It's radar mad this game. Still I think its going to be my primary unlock once I get the chance.
I was messing about with some classes last night, so many options.
Overkill with Riot shield/SMG on specialist should be entertaining
I haven't worked out what's the best proficiency/perk setup yet. I don't think double melee works, probably better to do Speed on the Shield, Melee on the gun.
Throwing knifes are a Scavenger pick up and you can throw them insanely fast with Quickdraw Pro.
I actually made a UAV spamming class last night too (not that its needed) if its your only reward on hardline you put one up every 2 kills.

How many of you jumped from BF3 to MW3 then? I'm tempted to trade it in for MW3 today
I've kept BF3. I will go back to it as they are quite different.
Played quite a bit of survivor last night with Wyrdo. What a let down that is. It badly needs more than 2 players to make it a better experience where you can dig in a bit. Otherwise in the latter levels where you have to go and buy more ammo etc you are leaving the area where you have fortified to a degree and your team mate has to come with you.
It's a very good base to work from but like the SP needs an overhaul this needs more players badly to give it any longevity. It's a shame they didn't drop spec ops completely from the disc and just make a better survivor mode

The key is the same as black ops - you need a crawler. Ie one that is almost dead and just crawling along.
You can then leave him crawling about while you go off and do your thing, refill ammo, buy upgrades etc.. and then kill him to start the next round.
I had a great game of Survivor with some German Dude & we left one alive as above then sorted out ammo/air etc then killed him & hit the O button to ready up quicker. German Dude saved my **** about 7 times during our play & I think we reached wave 30, I don't really know for sure as I well shell shocked to **** after the game. + 
Survivor is Ace with the right partner & comms.
I finished SP tuther day & think it's brilliant.
MP has been really hard for me transferring over to FPS on console but I'm up to about level 15 now so things are starting to happen for me now, I actually got a 3 kill streak

The maps are crazy tension wise, Wandering around all the jittys freaks the bejesus out of me when I'm into a game.

Yes the trouble is 30 seconds isn't enough to get from one side of the map and back again to where you have claymored and set up camp. Your delta squad also follows you. They get wasted when they are out of position on there own.

I've not perfected how to do it yet
but in the later levels i have had one just crawling about that didn't seem to get back up.
Just leave one alive as you can easily out run them. I've been buying 10 claymores & running from ammo to bomb laying a trail of clays. Once it kicks of mental I run back the way I come with the Enemy chasing me setting off my clays as they go.

Loved blops where I mainly played ground war. Think this was my mistake at the start in mw3. The maps and just to small and tight for large teams as I was getting blew up from every angle.
Starting to get used to it now and in fact enjoying it. My K ratio is gone to hell lol from playing ground war.
Also since the patch my server time outs and connection problems have been greatly improved. Had to try and join around 10 games to get one going now I get the error maybe once every 4-5 games?

Im using a PS3, My isp is orange. I've rebooted the router various times. Im actually using a ethernet cable at the moment in case it was a problem with the wireless.
Black ops is working ok, I have tried with MW3 many times and just fails to connect.
