**RELEASE DATES** ATI Radeon HD 7000 Series

Official dates have been announced for the release of the AMD/ATI Radeon HD 7000 series cards.

Good times, can't wait to grab myself a 7950 or 7970 dependant on price.. That's a point, no word on pricing! Although ATI generally are good value for money as opposed to NVIDIA so we will see.. ;)

Could some kind fellow point me in the direction on where I can read up on what the 7000 series will bring over the 6000 series? :)

If these are true (does it say confirmed by AMD?), I'm going to have lots of fun around February with a 7950 or 7970 (depends on the length of the card)...assuming supply is plentiful or I manage to snag one when the prices are ridiculous and supply is equally ridiculous.

What do you guys expect the 7870 to retail at?

7870 is (I think) pretty much the same as a 6970 and they are around £270 IIRC would be amazing if they were £250 but I doubt it. In fact, knowing this country they will most certainly be £299.99 on launch /s

Probably £200ish lol <<<<optimistic but hopeful

Ya, or for a graduation present here :D I can see that working well - when I'm on jobseekers, at least I would be able to play BF3 on ultra  lol

Errm, from what I can tell website no 1, trying to get hits, uses website no 2, Fudzilla, the least accurate source of AMD info since....... the first newspaper's were invented..... and chipped into stone tablets, then puts the dates Fudzilla has NOT confirmed, puts them in a table and wants you to believe this is some official table from AMD.

Basically more shens, Fudzilla are going off previously leaked info, I still wouldn't want to guess which architecture the 7870/50 will be.

December-Jan, with I would think a final date being insanely unlikely at this point, it will depend how many wafers come back by early december frankly. The next 3 weeks output from TSMC could all be broken(a la 40nm's first early bad months) or they could all be fine.

It already sounds like there will be low end discrete chips but are potentially just rebranded HD6000 cards, but you assume with higher power usage(marginally).

Fusion could also just mean gpu's that will be either APU's or gpu's that will "match" the APU gpu's, and the discrete list should really be seen as discrete only.

Random website Z very very very rarely get exclusives, and considering they credit Fudzilla, who don't actually state any dates, just guesses and no confirmation from anyone, its just an attempt to get hits.
