The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

Oh man, loving this game, I've not even really touched the main quest yet, I got distracted and went to the mage college and joined the thieves guild :o

Also defeated my first giant at level 9, by kiting it around a rock, like a boss.
 
I'm stuck trying to kill krev the Skinner. I'm a level 7 Breton, should I come back when I'm stronger? Any tips?
 
This has probably been asked a few times already, but damned if I'm reading all 183 pages. :p

How much difference is there between Oblivion and Skyrim, gameplay wise?
I bought Oblivion for the 360 and I REALLY tried to like it, I've gone back and tried it several times as well, but it just bored me to tears. I normally like RPG's, but Oblivion never clicked with me.

How do I get plans to make better light armour?

I haven't really touched the quest line yet, just the little Misc ones. Still roaming around Whiterun.

I don't know but I'm just hoping you can create your own Mage 'armour.'

its turned it down to the easiest difficulty not because i wanted to but it seemed i had little choice.

as far as i can see their is no indication of how strong an enemy is , some giants ive fought and killed but others 1 hit me :rolleyes:

im in full heavy armour aswell its almost like some enemies are just randomly over powered

I am level 6 and came across Voluruud elders cairn, i also have a follower, but had to turn it to the lowest skill from adept, as i was getting one shot killed.Got some nice gear though.
 
Having great fun with this! Im a lvl 5 Dark Elf and trying to do the quest called "inoonce lost"

While there the thieves guild has approached me. Should o puruse this? or are they a little but scummy?

Neing a dark elf some of the nords really hate me!
 
Is there a way of keeping the horse nearby? I want to get off this horse and explore a new city i have found but when ever I leave the horse it seems to just go off for a walk? I don't want to lose this horse.

You will require Novice destruction + Dual overcharge if you dont already have them, you should really take those two, plus Impact once your Destruction is at 40 if you plan on being effective with magic.
