This game is fantasic, I love it
I was thinking of getting Skyrim but was worried it would be boring like Oblivion.
I was thinking of getting Skyrim but was worried it would be boring like Oblivion.
I think I missed something when I went in that first dungeon because on my quest log I got the claw but I didnt get the "Dragonstone" and my quest log still says I need to:
-Find the secret of Bleak Falls Barrow
-Retrieve the Dragonstone
So does this mean I need to go back into that dungeon? Please can someone explain how to complete both parts.
Thanks in advance.
I am experiencing what I suspect is a horrible bug, in the mages quest line.
I am pretty certain that a door is failing to open, when it is supposed to. I can even see where the passage way should continue on my map, but annoyingly it is failing to trigger correctly.
How do I do spoilers? I would like to get some advice from anyone else who has completed the mage quest line.
This is the 3rd time I've asked for help on a location. Hopefully someone knows this time. Does anyone know where The Aalto is?
Screenshots of the map would be awesome.
In north-central Skyrim, there is an area called The Aalto, which is of unique geographical interest. It is a dormant volcanic valley surrounded on all sides by glaciers, so the earth is hot from the volcano, but the constant water drizzle and air is frigid. A grape called Jazbay grows there comfortably, and everywhere else in Tamriel it withers and dies. The strange vineyard is a privately owned, and the wine produced from it is thus rare and extremely expensive. It is said that the Emperor needs the permission of the Imperial Council to have a glass of it once a year.
Searching the wiki, I found a lore reference to the place, written in one of the in-game books:
Hopefully this helps.
Go ahead and bookmark that wiki too, it came in handy when I played Oblivion, and will probably come in handy for Skyrim too.
That bit is a bit buggy, my horse was in the scene with them which was weird.Alduin's Bane quest bug problems:
I just got the Elder Scroll and headed back to the Throat Of The World to read it. The problem is when the cutscene plays and they shout 'Alduin is approaching' nothing happens. The NPCs just stand around and there's nothing I can do but reload to an earlier save.
I've tried restarting the game and trying again from a different save but still no dice. Is anyone else experiencing this bug?
