I really like the look of that KH2002.

Realistically, how long will it take me to amast the correct number of Co-Op points to unlock it?

ive done 4/6 of he missions, the first 3 ive done about 3 times each though and im about 20k off unlocking that gun. you can usually get 8-12k per level and they take roughly 10minutes to do.
i just started playing them when i either got a bit bored of multiplayer or the server i wanted to play on was full :cool:
 
The KH2002 is an excellent weapon. It says it has Auto mode but it does not. Single shot and burst. The burst is LETHAL though and is automatic RPM speed when you suppress fire in burst. It is also exceptionally accurate in Single fire mode over long range.

I combine it with a foregrip and 4x Scope.

Those that just "gun-ho!" with the machine-guns with a bi-pod deployed should learn to control the recoil a bit more... Firing in bursts will net you a lot more kills than just unleashing the entire clip. Something like Davamand Peak, you can sit in the tunnel looking down one of the side entrances, bi-pod out, extended mags as well - that's 200 rounds you've got to play with. Don't waste 70% of those by holding Mouse1, use 4-6 shot bursts and watch the bodies fall and the kills rank up.
Good advice but it doesn't just apply to using the bipod.

I always switch my guns to burst fire now from automatic and my kdr is starting to creep up.
 
I love using the APC on grand bazaar.

Most people spam the alleyway, so I just rock up alongside it and wait for teams to pour out in to my path :D

Got a few double and triple kills earlier doing it. It's like no one bothers, so I feel obliged haha

My personal favorite is using the AAV-7A1 amtrak on rush as a breaching tool.

Build up enough speed, and you can use it to crash into the side of buildings and bring walls down. Do this in enclosed M-COM locations and you can open up the walls allowing easy access for any further attempts, you also allow team mates to spawn into it, and also gives you somewhere that's ridiculously well armored to hide in while waiting for the M Com to blow up. Then quickly pop into the turret to shoot at anybody that attempts to defuse.

Its a brilliant tool when used well.
 
Well after further playing, here are my thoughts:

IR scope, F2000, mobile AA are way too OP

Aircrafts need to be sorted out as anyone beginning without flares or the extra time to lock on don't stand a chance

Things that need to be fixed/tweaked:

- IR scope needs to have a battery/time limit or only work in very close combat situations and change depending on the situation i.e. far/clear you can see depending on light situations

I loved it at first and tbh it is great using it to see all the noob campers in bushes, camping at corners etc. but it does feel like a cheat/wallhack now, only time I use it is if I keep getting killed non stop by the other entire team using it and always on tehran highway

- the shotguns with explosive ammo needs to be sorted out ASAP

-F2000 is seriously OP, was doing really well with it earlier on without any unlocks for it :eek:, now I have the red dot sight and foregrip for it

- mortars are becoming a pita now especially on the base jumping map for rush and seine crossing, non stop mortar spam, easy to deal with, simply get mine out and wait for them to show up and send one big steaming turd there way :D, but I do not want to be wasting my time doing this, so IMO this is what should be done

1. Have like only 3 or 5 rounds for each smoke and explosive
2. Slower reload time
3. not allowed to be deployed any where in spawn areas
4. Personally think that support should get mobile spawns and recons get mortar, since recons sit at the back doing xxxxx all anyway :p and the support are usually on the front line and therefore would get better positions for the mobile spawn instead of it being placed in a bush way at the back or on a hill :rolleyes:
 
It really isn't that great and frag rounds are pretty useless without direct hits, no more OP than buckshot or slugs.

Isn't that great? Compard to the other weapons for the assault arsenal yes it is that great. It's the fastest firing and up to 40m+ the quickest killing gun. (On par with the KH2002. Although the G3A3 does more damage, kills in less rounds it has a very small magazine.

As for frag rounds, if you play support (read: as much ammo as you want) it's crazy. Add that to the USAS-12 and it's a monster, useless without direct hits? holy hell man do you understand the concept that most guns need direct hits and it has SPLASH DAMAGE? you can kill people in building by shooting the walls infront of them, the roof above them, you can kill people around corners by shooting the base of it.

As well as it being a projectile that explodes, unlike buckshot, you have a lot of range if you're able to compute bullet drop into your thought process, taken out many people/snipers by just aiming a little above, you just need to hit near them and BAOWAM! Splosion's.

Also, frags have an enhanced supression effect (++++points/helping team out) tied with the squad perk, it's nasty. Learn to use it as that, a supression weapon, don't always concentrate on your kills/kd/etc.

Laying down fire by holding down mouse 1 is a tactic, it keeps peoples screens blurry, stops them advancing at times and giving the rest of your team (which many people forget you're playing with) the chance to do something.
 
Been playing with a few friends the last couple of days, always in a squad and working together until we have a map locked down, then we'll usually split up a bit to go hunting. Playing like this has made a huge improvement to my score every round and we are begining to get regular ace squad and MVP ribbons for it. Makes up for the frustration of joining a pub and ending up with idiots that just sit in the chopper and do nothing or dump planes to get to the other side of the map faster.
 
not liking this game as much as BC2 yet but will persevere as it's definitely awesome nonetheless. I've only played something like 7 hrs and only as engi but rockets definitely feel weak, hoping the Javelin is a worthy unlock but def missing tracer darts :( Best thing so far, snipers with flashlights, wth are they thinking :D

Possible tip: May not be flashlights, high magnification scopes (those above 4x) will create a glint/reflection of light towards the target observing.

It's why I generally use lower powered ones, or the IRNV ( I believe that one doesn't glare) and still maintain 45% accuracy :>
 
Managed to steal an FS2000 off a corpse and damn, that weapon is good! Even better that they had IR on it :D. So you can only get this weapon off the CO-OP missions? (Apart from corpse looting)

I remember the glint from BETA but this was more like a miniature sun up in the hills, confirmed as a flashlight when i crept up on his position ;)

The scope glint is a good idea, poorly implemented. Why does my scope glint in a poorly lit underground station? :p

F2000 is an assault unlock. KH2002 is the second co-op unlock (after the REX) and is also an assault weapon.
