Nice work on the Mega GJ02. It's still on my to do list.

I’d had enough of being goalkeeper in our school team and took decisive action. Needless to say I never played again.

Scored a try this weekend by running 3/4 of the pitch and gassing 5/6 people on the way which was pretty cool :)

Few years ago here was a competition to see how many people could jump - I won :)
Was a crowd on a grassy hill watching and got cheers

I scored with my shoulder.

Was a league game last season, playing for the uni (I'm playing for the third team this year, no idea why, I'm terrible). Penfold, my right winger, crossed the ball in to me on the edge of the area, and for some reason their keeper came out. We both jumped, he nudged me, the ball hit my shoulder, looped over him, under the crossbar and in.

We won 2-1, and I scored in the 85th minute. Win.

Played for Southwest England hockey team :)

Best goal I've scored would be last season, 1-2 with my striking counterpart around their last man, as soon as I'm in the D I let rip - smashed into the top left corner, connecting with both the post and crossbar on the way in - absolute screamer :D

Have since discovered (with the aid of a speed gun) that my shots are around the 110mph mark :D

Boxing when I was 14, I was ill on the run up to the fight so was out of shape and way off my weight. Convinced my coach to let me fight, my opponent was 10kg heavier and had 4" on me. Start of first round he comes at me hell for leather, I fake a jab and hit him with a cross right. Caught him perfectly, he hits the mat and is out cold. No one saw it coming was brilliant.

Other one was playing in a cup game against a team 3 leagues above us. I'm a goalkeeper and was playing my first season in 5 years. We won the game 2-1, with me get both assists, pulling out countless top class saves (according to the newspaper!) and saving 2 penalties. Got the newspaper article at home still, keep meaning to get it framed!

I have 2 that stand out for me.

1st was doing the 50m butterfly the first year I won age champion for swimming at school. I was behind by over a body length at the 25m mark and knew that if I won it I would get age champion. Ended up beating the guy who was leading by half a body length and only took 1 more breath in the second half of the race. Queue fist pump when I had finished and then massive head spins when I got out of the pool..

That was a pretty special moment for me as I wasn't great at butterfly, ended up making it to state for 2 strokes that year but the school race stood out more so for me.

2nd was just a personal achievement when I first got into the gym and the last summer I had before coming over here I wanted to see how low I could get my body fat %. Ended up getting down to roughly 5% or just under, and kept it around that mark (5-6%) for about a month before going back to a more healthy range :p.

Ten Pin Bowling (if it counts)

Was playing the Brunel open championships near to Gatwick Airport if I remember rightly but many, many years ago.

Not too good but good enough to play for my University.

Had a blinder of a game but started the first two ends badly getting only an 8 and a 9, not even a spare. But then followed that up with 11 strikes in a row giving me a total of 257 which won it.

If only I had got strikes on those first two ends. After my 4th or 5th strike in a row, quite a crowd started to gather and watch me.

A month or so go our first round cup tie had gone into extra-time. I had been pushed to left-back because we had a few players missing. Picked the ball up on the halfway line, strolled forward a bit, played a one-two, cut inside on my right foot and bent one into the top right-hand corner from about 25 yards.

Best bit was our 2nd team had been playing just down the road and had turned up to watch when their game finished!
