I have been loving this game, after I played the beta (for 20 mins) I was a bit bummed, but now I totally love almost everything they have done. Still no campaign played though.

Does anyone know how the strike at karkand expansion will work, will it be a totally seperate thing playing with only those maps and weapons or will it be interspliced with normal matchmaking... Already worried that progression is a bit slow, don't want to be splitting my time too much as I want to unlock all those weapons!!!

Karkand will be part of the normal map rotation (on PC at least).

Don't know where that leaves users who don't have it installed though...

They will probably do what they did with bc2 where is you didnt have the map packs/vip pass then you just got kicked off on them games...

I think I have heard you can even use BTK weapons on the normal BF3 game. It's essentially a bunch of extra maps added to the roster instead of being a separate game.

Yep they will get kicked off the server.

DICE will have some non karkand servers as well though surely ?

Why is the knife so useless?...went up against some guy...and it did some weak little swipe TWICE on him and he never died but I was getting hit markers etc...whats the point of it!?

Was this from the front? Knifes only 1 hit kill from behind now. It takes a few swipes from any other angle
