Into the beta now. Will be interesting to see what the games like, will definatly make it or break it for me.not sure if Beta is this weekend, but yes you will be able to downland the client before the beta starts.. about 28g
no date as yet, once they decide on a date, you will be sent another email which you need to accept or decline, once you accept then you will be able to download.
There is no beta this weekend...
If you have full access to the beta now then by all means download the client; if you got the same email as every single person who signed up to beta test prior to 11/11/11 then they have yet to announce the weekend that beta will take place and the likelihood is it will be a newer build, in which case... do not download the client.
That said, if you got the same email as everyone else for the "Mass Beta" then you still wont have access to the client...
Erm what kids it was a poll with over 10000 votes .. how you can think that was our guild voting

It was not on our site?.Adversaries works as a chain, The Immortals do not have to add you as long as you have us we will end up on the same server, I tell everyone never cross add, if Guild A adds you tell them fine but do not add then, you add guild b, taking it that you guild C and A,B,C will all be on the same server. (that way more chance of keeping the Russkies off our server).

True enough but even if you look at all the Polls on the swtor site its heavily sided with kids going Sith side, you may get the causal older player going Republic but I pretty sure most of the kids think its cooler these days to be Darth Vader than Luckey boy.I'd beware of putting too much faith in internet polls. Depending on where the poll was conducted i.e. site your demographic will change. My experience is a lot of MMO veterans seem to be going Sith. What will be of interest is what do the masses with casual interest in MMO's and Star Wars go for? My bet is good guys with glow sticks, will be interesting to see
Naw I'm just basically mean and call it as I see itYeah there may have been a wee bit of an overreaction in some of the replies! Seems some are getting a little overexcited the closer it gets
What full beta? this is the full beta ..On Betacake there is also a poll on class choices and on there too it has Sith in the top 3. I think this is due the Sith getting the most coverage at game expos etc. I think Mr Reid enjoys playing sith as this what he demos every time he plays.
I think this will defiantly change once the full beta starts in a week or two as people will try all classes and make a decision form that. Saying that I can still see Sith and Jedi been the two most popular come launch.

Are they likely to do the US stress testing the same weekend as EU?
Where does it say kids are mostly going Sith? show us please....
I think its the other way round. I think most kids were brought up watching Luke and his mates kick ass.
It's down to the sith getting most coverage at the game expo's etc, once the mass beta starts , people will get to play all of them and the decide, or maybe its just down to Sith is better and having a brilliant start area

Lol I don't remember where it was, was one of the big stars wars fan sites, (this was about 2 years ago) lol and was not brought up to be an argument either was asked why we were going Republic and that was why.
I'm pretty sure if you really want to know you could goggle it.
There tons of other mini polls which you can find if you use search on swtor and everyone that has a age choice on it will also bare out the fact that the kiddies are going Sith.
Think the mass stress test will be pretty soon.

Aren't Bioware sending keys out anyway to the selected people?
Curse Gaming has some as well, got most of my wow addons from there so it seems it shouldnt be a problem getting keys.
Hey talking of which, i loved addons in WoW - is the SWTOR interface going to be moddable? I really have avoided most of the info coming out of the game so I can have a fresh start but this piques my curiosity.

Had a quick look and some of the comments on mmorpg.
Do not apply the mmorpg code(Curse or any other 3rd party websites) to your account if you got the email last week from Bioware saying "You have been selected" It will jeopardize your ability to participate in the test.
Just a heads up....
Wab(sure it was him) mentioned a while back, that SWTOR will not have any add-ons to enhance UI etc.
I know for a fact that there will be no macros at launch too, maybe later on.
