The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

27 hours in and still haven't done much of anything :D

Just spent the last 3 or more clearing Nchuand-Zel and transporting all the scrap Dwemer metal back and fourth to the smelter. I have so many Dwarfen ingots now I'll probably get smithing upto 100 instantly. I didn't check but it the end it must be a few hundred Ingots.

On an aside I hate Falmers :(

What kind of Health, Stamina, Magicka ratio would people suggest for a dual wielding (sometimes shield, bow) Nord. I only use magic now and again for healing myself.

I'm playing as a deadly magiclly stunted sneeky thieving archer Wood Elf and I havn't put any points into magic. Health and stamina at about the same level as each other... Possibly later putting more points into health once you reach a comfortable stamina level for your playstyle.

Does any one else think Pickpocket and its perks are pointless? I've only done it a handful of times messing around on the thieves guild jobs.

May start another character as a pure mage to see what I'm missing out on.

This game is so massive... There is SO much to do! There truely are not enough hours in the day to play it! Come on clock... get to 17:00 already!

Besides spells and a house, is there much else to spend gold on? I've got 30k but don't need a house as I'm the arch-mage so live in those nice quarters.

I got all the way to the college only to find out that I couldnt get in. I needed to be able to perform a spell and since I hadnt put any points into magic, I didnt have enough magicka to perform it :(

Will need to go back after I level up again and get 10 more magic points.

I don't know how that happened, but this game seems to have fallen into my "basket" and bought it... oops!

Cannae wait!

Is there any purpose for the dragon bones/scales other than selling them? I killed my second dragon and I'm running out of carry space.

Go to The Throat of the World and kill the Magna-Troll there. The troll fat you acquire can be rendered down to make a special glue. When you have all the bones, scales and glue you enter a mini-game where you have to build a dragon. Like a big-assed jigsaw. When complete you have a life-sized model dragon.

I won't mention what happens next as it will spoil it for you.

I've earned tens of thousands of gold from pickpocketing.

Meh... I had gold coming out of my ears before I even joined the Thieves guild. Seems the sale of my fallen foe's stuff and dragon bones/scales makes a massive amount of coin!

Anyone else got the dragon shout where you can make a noise where you place your crosshairs? Very useful to the sneaky!

Little question for anyone that has completed the mage college quests:

Spoiler tag is failing AGAIN so skip the following if you don't want it spoiled!

Does your face sometimes go invisible when wearing the mask you get from killing that mage? Sometimes it's fine but other times it bugs out. If I remove the mask I can see my face so it seems to be a problem with the actual mask

I got myself a house in Whiterun, can use various chests throughout the place but nothing like your own house!
My Housecarl has even moved, going to be interesting if I get a wife.:o

So with all this talk about people making millions from stealing and pickpocketing, and magic being amazing, I can't help but feel I'm making the wrong choice by going warrior style with armor.

Convince me?
