put ours up tonight in the foxtrot household :)
 
Even if i WANTED to put the tree up in mid November, a proper tree (as in, real, not rubbish plastic) would be long dead before December 25th hit.


I guess what i'm trying to say is, plastic trees are rubbish and i hate you. The last part might be a teensy bit harsh, can't decide.
 
Just when I thought Balliestone couldn't get any neddier... You got a herd of light up Reindeer battling for space with buckie bottles and sofas in your front garden as well?

What I'm trying to say, is whoever puts up decorations this early is a ned. :)
 
for anyone interested in raw numbers

its 7 foot 6 inches,
has over 150 feet of LED lights,
and approx 200 stupid baubley things that i spent the last 3 hours tieing strings onto.


and yes i shall be smashing much pasty tonight because i agreed to putting a tree up :)

I did actually think about that, and I then remembered last time you had to come here you had to be reminded of my address so I'm hoping that's still the case.

When are we having the inappropriately timed BBQ btw? Sorted your garden out yet?
 
Are you serious? It's the 15th of November. Not December. I'm tempted to close this thread and re-open it on 1st December...
