The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

Got in a productive couple of hours play after getting home from work. Cleared out the dungeon to complete my trial for the Companions. Unlocked the new fire blast shout. It totally owned against the waves of undead guys that popped out at the end. Also made a ton of gold from selling all the silver swords and other loot, meaning I could buy the Whiterun house and fully furnish it :D

Good dungeon that one:D And a whole heap of gold in there!

Anyone multiple things atm? I am a Nord Warrior Werewolf Cannibal currently.. lol!

It is a little weird, although only Cannibal with a ring.

Wow! You were actually enjoying it?! I'm stunned. :p

I'm sure your issue can be fixed, there are loads of fixes/mods and god knows what else out for this on PC.

As I said - I was merely playing Devil's Advocate and relishing the chance to reply to lots of smarmy RPG players with their "our genre of game is simply too highbrow for you" attitudes. It's a fun game but I've certainly not been blown away by its intellectual weight! Haha. And the crash has thoroughly ruined my enjoyment of it.

Lol :p

So I might've killed the smithy and the wizard is Dragonsreach with console. Revived them earlier but now they're gone, took me a good 30mins of resting, zoning etc before I realised what I'd done.

Any fix?

Wow 21 hours in level 15 and i still havent done any of the main quest or even seen the first dragon yet! Slighly amazed at how much gameplay this thing has, not bored after 21 hours still want to play more!

Decided I am going to complete the main quest now(if you can call it that) and then sort out the war/guilds etc.

What I am loving most about this game is that there doesn't seem to be a main quest, more like 3 or 4 different storylines going on. I am guessing they will converge at some point, but it would be great if they are all separate.

30 hours in now, done a bit of the main quest, no faction quests and only visited 3 of the main cities:eek:

I don't like the difficulty tbh, playing on adept i kill most things easily and then get onehit killed by a bear or similar.

Put it up a notch on the difficulty level then, that's what i did and it makes it better.

That's the problem, I do often think i will put the difficulty up a notch as it is getting easy but then (still on adept) i will come across something that takes me out easily. Are some bears overpowered in this do you think, just slightly?

Toughest enemy so far for me has been Vorken(?) the ghost/wraith where you are sent to find a dragon shout

Hehehehehe.

Just ran into a dwarven dungeon full of Falmer. Unfortunately for them, I have muffle enchanted boots, so they can't see me (their blind) or hear me.

What with doing 12x damage with dagger sneak attacks, it was like shooting fish in a barrel.

Not only that but I came out to find a word wall with the "Throw Voice" shout, which is a stealth characters dream come true.

Putting Words of Power in dungeons was a great idea imo, it makes exploring much better. I have randomly come across one whilst exploring a dungeon as well. In Oblivion i never really went in to a dungeon unless there was a quest involved, but here i want to visit them to search for Dragon words! (i guess there is a map somewhere though)

Also, every dungeon i have been to has been excellent!

It's keeping me away from BF3 which is a miracal.

Lvl 11 Orc Warrior minimal magic pure sword shield and Archery. Always play rogue stealth type characters in any and all RPG games i' play so big change for me but loving it.

Good looking Guy, they should have put dirty wenches in the game, :)

My most used shout by far! It's so entertaining making people search the other side of the room while you bolt past... or make them run past you into a darkened corner making them a prime target for a dagger in the back. Stabby Stabby! :D

I really need to find some more useful shouts to be honest... I have killed loads of dragons (2 at once at one point when I accidently ran into a stationary dragon while chasing a flying one) but all the words I keep finding aren't that useful to my character.

Somehow according to steam I've clocked 52 hours... I can't have played it that much could I?? :o :D
