Really liking Dark Elf as you can basically do a bit of evreything ive got good destruction , One handed and two handed skill,

i just adapt what im using to who im fighting, If im fighting skeletons ill use the weapons, if im facing mages ill use the flame spells.

going to grind smithing tonight for some better wepons

I think ill go for my 3rd dragon tonight as I reached Ebony and 1 point off the next armor.. Need to get all my pieces ready

Just got it, started to play it and it's gone all wrong

start off on the carts as you do, when it comes to getting off, it all goes a bit wrong, the first guy gets off and starts spinning virtically through the ground, then i just end up stuck in the horse thats pulling the cart

hoping updating the drivers for for my GTX 580 will help.

Anyone else has similar issues?

Got a source for the armors at whatever level?

Should tell you in the perk tree how many points are needed for the armor or whatever you want to level up.

I mis read it seems. I thought you meant it told you when say, Glass armour starts spawning etc.

Yea, installing patch now, forgot i have to restart steam for the bloody thing to update some games

Hopefully it will work when thats done, as updating the drivers for my gfx made no difference.

quick question, i have an i5 2500k a gtx 580 and 8gb ram, should i be able to run the game with everything maxed out ? when it does the autodetect thing it sets them to high rather than ultra.

I had no idea at the start that you could choose to follow either the Imperial or the Stormcloak guy. I just stuck with the Imperial guy as I assumed it was mandatory. I decided to go Imperial in the end anyway, but its good to know for my next playthrough, as I think I'll go Stormcloak that time.

I became a full member of the bards college this morning. Now sadly I gotta go to work. No more Skyrim until 10.30pm

Might have to start again unless I can re-assign my stats somehow.

Really need to go exploring a bit more, only level 7. Want to see a bit more of the world

On the topic of exploration, am I the only hardcore saddo that refuses to use a horse or carriage and walks everywhere to soak in the sights of Skyrim?

each to their own , the games long enough as it is let alone walking everywhere - i fast travel whereever possible.

Bah, 12 hours in and just got my first crash to desktop. no errors, just bam and CTD as i was walking along the plains west of whiterun. I did install 'detailed faces' and 'no more blocky faces' as well as increased the grass and tree distance this morning so maybe that is it?

only one crash so far though so i will see how it goes.

Has anyone not had a CTD so far?

I've found the key is to be a bit stealthier and try and draw them off one at a time or if there's a few into a narrow corridor where you can use a shout on all of them. Key is getting the drop on them, if they see you and you have to advance across a room to them you are basically ******.

Learn basic ward spell should help you get close.
