** MAYHEMS AURORA - Pearlescent Watercooling Fluids **

I really dunno what to do :( I want that red but I want a decent dark (black) to go with it. I liked the old extinction green :p (but I guess there is a higher demand for brighter green) mmm Maybe I will just get the red and use the X1 oil Black I have for now. Then swap the black out for a aurora or pastel black when it comes out :)

A quicky on the DDC running at 60% power. Confirmed it must run at full speed if not there is not enough over head pressure and flow in the loop to move the liquid about enough.

Again it will not prolong the life of the fluid.

As for longevity of the fluid i have had it on my Gpu loop 6 months with no problems how ever in my CPU loop with restrictive plate i only lasted 4 1/2 months. With out plate again it lasted for 6 months.

We have had a few people were the aurora has settled but this was not surprising as they has 4 rads , 3 blocks and a single DDC 18 watt running it all. The second was they had now flushed the new rad out and this caused the pearl to lose it coating and stick to the walls of the Tubing.

Like we say these sort of mistakes are why we recommend you follow the wiki and know what you are doing before forking out for the fluid. If you have any concerns then your better off going for the pastel range which runs much better than any other fluid out in the EU atm.

Mayhems

Just a quick question Mick - am currently using you mayhems UV red in my loop - so if i change to aurora tharsis red will I have to still do a full flush before I put the aurora in.

Many thanks

Mark

Im going to be making a new loop (or two!) for my system soon and I want to use some of this awesome stuff inside it.

Where may I find the 'wiki' or a list of confirmed 'working' products?

I know there was a previous thread but ive not been able to find it... Yes im a crap searcher :p

thanks, I don't think I can use aurora in my Rig then:(

does pastel have any particle settling effect or is it 100% suspended?

question: i thought using dyes and in general, liquid that has colour is a bad idea in a loop a sit can staine and ruine your water blocks?

a common misconception.

i have used mayhems in my system for over 18 months now with zero staining or debris build up on my waterblocks

using lower quality fluids such as feser etc can cause build up of debris in the impingement channels. This is because fluids like this are not carefully balanced like mayhems is

this is why OcUK only carries mayhems as the main watercooling fluid brand.

Does anybody have any feedback on temperatures so far? I'm sure I remember reading a while back that this was maybe a degree or so behind plain water but I can't find that post now.

I'd be running it off a D5 (setting 3 or below I hope) through 1x RX360, 1x EX240, CPU block and full cover 570 block, would that be ok? I assume it would need changing after 3 or 4 months rather than 6...

its nothing you would need to worry about.

no more than perhaps say, having the heating on in the room you are in.

your setup would be fine to run for around 6 months etc

You need to run all pumps on full power. Its really only for 1 rad. We have not tested 2 single rads, How ever some people have and found it works some people have found it doesnt (depending on there set up). Please read the wiki in my sig as it is very important to get aurora to run correctly.

If you don't follow the Wiki neither Mayhems nor OCUK are responsible if it doesn't work.
