I wasn't aware because I wouldn't touch it on console. :p

Can I still blame the console though?

the maps are the same on the console, the flag placement is different and the play area is artificially smaller but all the map assets are exactly the same.

Of course it is to do with consoles Pc was lead platform that change whilst developing the game, the maps are exactly same on three platforms the only difference is on consoles they have less Flags. Look at all battlefied games that were on PC only there maps were great as soon as Bad Company came along it started to cocked the maps up

whats happened to this game?

just got back from work 3 servers i been on has been riddled with hackers! u cant even move more then 5 feet without dying! then i came across this bloke! mouthiest little **** ive ever played games against in 17 years!

haahah ya fair does was a little harsh but if u think im 100% serious then i think u should go to bed and get some sleep! and please don't report me i beg u, my whole life revolves around OCUK forums and id probably top myself if i cant post here anymore..... zzzz.... it just ****es me off seeing him + about 10 others constantly hacking it gets a little boring and very frustrating!

anyway had a **** night at work and even ****er night playin BF3!
 
Doesn't matter if you were serious or not, the fact that your reply jests about it in such a trivial fashion only worsens the original remark. It's sad if you can't see how insulting that remark is and sadder still that you show no shame or remorse for having made it.
 
I finally get my pc running again and all the OcUK servers are empty! WTF, I'm behind the curve and everyone's left!

Oh yeah, I've been meaning to ask, why does everyhting look so terrible when I'm looking through a scope? It's like BF2 when I'm scoped in. What setting am I missing there?
 
well pbbans has been banning like mad last few days so i guess they doing there job pretty well but a lot are getting busted for hacks now :(

Battlefield 3 = 1,387 bans already can see this surpassing bfbc2 hackwise quite easily and that was a very bad game for hacks.
 
we are streaming to PBbans, not seen one single hacker on the server since day one. Theres no bans from us on PBbans for BF3 at all. Our last one was in June for BC2. I guess thats a good thing.
 
Question time.....
Went on smogsy's last night, for the second night running, however last night I had set up and joined the mumble server. The server was just a little too laggy to play properly, which I noticed while I was constantly clicking refresh, the server ping was changing from low 40 to anywhere about 150ms. So eventually I quit both server and mumble and I had no lag issues all night on various servers. Could there be an issue with mumble that causes this ? I have no lag issues ever with this game so its gotta be one or the other....and there were no updates goingon nothing loading, no AV scans going down either.

Another little issue that has crept in over the last 2 nights, server got disconnected, never ever seen this b4 only on other peoples posts, but the last 2 nights it must have happened about a dozen times, on various servers.

Any ideas guys ?

but it didn't really get much better after i shut down mumble. I noticed that when i refreshed the server page some servers would come up with a reasopnable ping, but the ping on smogsys and some other servers was erratic.


having said that i have very poor internet speed between 6pm and 10pm so it might just be that.


also had some disconnects but i associated that with the lag

I did not experience lag however I was only on till 21:00. What time did you have it? Anyone else Here experience any lag on my server?

Just looking at the CPU/Memory, there was a spike at midnight but rest was fine.

ill look into it, but it might been the server just needed to be rebooted or multiplay doing some maintaince. i rebooted the server this morning anyway to be sure.

sorry state of affairs is that a lot of the decent hacks are hard to tell if used wisely . if your not used to looking for them properly then you may assume they are jut good.

not talking about people who spin round 360 getting headshots :p i on about the aimassist people and paid hacks thats people arnt catchable.

the good thing is on every hack site and i mean every hacksite there is a pb person on them :) so thinking they dont know about it is quite silly .

bfbc2 was one of the worst hacked games ever just cause you didnt see it they were there. bf3 will end up worse as its very popular.
