Because it takes a while to be able to craft mage armours as good as the archmage robes and mask or morokai.

Also theres a perk in Alteration that makes your defensive spells more effective while unarmored, but by the time you can unlock that you should be ok to start creating some mage armour, so its not really that great.
 
Enjoying the game, bit confused at the moment though.

I've come back to do an earlier quest "Missing in Action", trying to deliver proof of Thorald's death to Avulstein Graymane but when I enter the house he starts attacking me ??

Odd, I ran back to the companions and some of the Graymane's there started attacking him as well. Went to sleep and back to his house in the morning and thankfully I can hand in the quest now :)
 
Should I be maxing out this game no problem on ultra /w view distance to max?

I find I get really bad FPS spikes, even in enclosed areas. Has anyone else had this problem?

Just find a vampire and let him use his absorb spell on you (the red one) and you will eventually contract a disease. After three days you will become one.

Vampires in this game are quite pants, even worse than oblivion vampires. Bonus to frost resistance, sneak and illusion, no regen in sunlight and weakness to fire. I recommend keeping a save game before you become one although there is a quest for a cure.

Exactly the same card/settings as me. It's usually fine, but I get some massive frame rate drops in places. I was doing a quest earlier, and went outside into a snow storm, and my frame rate just plummeted :(

I tried the 3D though, and it's quite cool, although the 3D crosshair and sneak icon being in the same place are quite annoying. Seems to run very nicely on high in 3D, so may just stick with that. I haven't noticed any major differences in image quality.

Thats the quests I was talking about.

I am loving the game almost lvl 50 71 Hours played. I am mage/ranger hybrid and still not done the main quests and half of the main side quests.
Sadly tho I keep getting the itch to play morrowind and oblivion again. Dont get me wrong skyrim great game but compaired to oblivion and morrowind its poor addition to the series.

Alright i found away to cure vampireism. Ask Valga Vinicia about any rumours, she will say a guys name who is an expert on vampireism. Goto him, he will say get a black soul gem. But you can buy one of him. Then you gotta get the spell soul trap, buy it off him :). But heres the part im stuck at...after using the soul trap, everyone hates me! i go into any town everyone starts killing me. I do mean any town!

What do i do ?!!?
