The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

I just had a thought of a good mod :), i was riding along in a hourse and i got attacked by 3 orcs in the middle of nowhere. I started wondering why in skyrim you couldnt ride a horse and attack people at the same time :( Id love that!

Oh, btw has anyones directsong soundtracks shipped yet? It says it would ship a week after the 11th, but mine still says card approved.

I have lots of Dragon Souls but no damn walls to use them. I don't want to cheat and use my Strategy Guide to find them, but they dont seem to show up on the radar.

This is intresting, i haven't looked at this map for a while.. i got to one edge of the map as well and it had a shrine about pilgrims from morrowind coming from the eastern side.

I never managed to commit to oblivion as it just drove me mad with the stupid leveling, but which area was it based upon ? and how did the expansions work ? could you travel to the new areas like you could in morrowind > bloodmoon ? what are we likely to see as expansions?

As in to get to level 2 and 3 shouts? Just spend another dragon soul on them in the Powers menu, under Magic, to go up a level. I think the default button is R?

I click all the buttons on my 360 pad and it doesnt upgrade any shout.

I checked the wiki, you need to learn all 3 words seperately :(

Yeah i am doing far too much fast travel. Lvl 32 and still only have two shouts. Rest have not unlocked yet due to not having enough dragon souls.

nothing to do with fast travelling, many dragon events are random and can appear at different times.

Many dragon encounters are also linked to side quests so its a good idea to pick up as many as you can and just do whatever your close to.

i fast travel everywhere, im level 20 with 6 dragons down - 4 of those were linked to quests/side mission and the other 2 were found on my way to a side mission that you couldnt fast travel to.

Man this questing system has turned the game into a marathon, 83 hrs on the clock and still havent been to see the Greybeards yet :p. Finaly got Smithing to 100 for dragon armour, not much to look at or is it me

Backstab damage with gloves from Darkbrotherhood, sneak backstab perk and Mayrons Razor ( yeh i know i spelt it wrong) gives me 30x backstab damage

With your character do you try to sneak around a lot?

Dont people realize how annoying it is to quote a load of full resolution pics?

Each word needs a soul, so 3 souls to unlock all 3 words of each shout. When you select a shout that is locked a button should appear to the left of where it tells you how many dragon souls you have (bottom right).

When you level up you get all your magicka, health, and stamina back. So I wait for a big fight normally and level up in the middle of it, if I have taken lots of damage or used all my magicak :)

Where did you get the mannequin?

Thinking about starting again. I've not been very consistant with my points as I swapped too often - I have points in 1h/2h/destruction/light armour/heavy armour. I think I should restart and then be more specific. Still can't decide if I want to be 2h/1h or magic pure though!

Stupid game with too many options! :p

My mage choice is proving to be interesting.

I'm level 13, and got plenty of magicka, but I still run out very fast. I feel very powerful against one or two mobs, but anything more I kinda get my butt kicked, and I run around like a little girl waiting for magicka to charge back up.
