The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

That light armor looks sexy! I might have to give stealther a go.. Still running around swinging my battleaxe.. Really should go see greybeards or atleast run in to some dragons!

I really need to read up on all this magic and enchantment rubbish, im still running round with my silver greatsword and its not doing me so well the further i get into the game :p

I tried magic once but it was so ineffective and seemed pointless and got my ass handed to me by an enemy that would be down with 3 swings of the greatsword.

I caved and bought this on Steam this morning, there goes my social life for the next month.

Note to self...don't attack wisps on a whim...got one hit bitch slapped :D

With this, BF3, Dead Island and Arkham City next week i'm more spoiled for gaming choice than I have been for years.

Definitely think I'm going to try my own weird class, consisting of:

One hand
Destruct
Restoration
Archery
Sneak
Light Armour

With some alchemy/enchant/smithing thrown in for Dragon Light armour.

Also find that I get my butt kicked by more than one mage at a time, but absolutely demolish bandit mobs.... Definitely need to get some wards sorted...

Is that the wintermother bitch? As lvl 9 she handed my ass back after some kinky spanking....

I have found 2 giants, attacked one of them and managed to get them to follow me to the nearest guarded tower, the npc joined in the melee while i hid in the tower like a coward!!!

Anyone know if the College of winterhold quests are side quests?

The level of detail seems to be much more than side quest and I'm wondering if they are part of the main quests which I am trying to avoid doing for the moment.

Yes college of winterhold are side quests, you should do them asap on any mage character to get the equipment from them.

I was rather dissapointed with how short is was though.

I'm not sure, I had just wandered out of the first cave, went up a hill, saw this little blue jellyfish things, attacked them, then she appeared and smashed me against the mountain with one hit. It was awesome :D

Got my frame :)

Was only £40 from here http://www.ezeframe.co.uk/

I think I'd rather have someone walk dog turd through my house than let that through my door.

Top marks for ultra-epic-hardcore-geekism™ though! :D

I have been playing the quests for about 6 hours and just finished the dwemer quest. Really enjoying it.

Funny thing is that you can buy a game these days that doesn't even last 6 hours!

Can I ask what may seem a silly question, the game is open, but am I supposed to do quests in an order? Or different areas on the trot along with my level? Or do the quests scale with my level?

You just play however you want and stuff scales as you go along.

Also, if you complete the main quest before reaching at least level 50, a kitten dies IRL

I'm level 22 and still using a enchanted Nord sword that I've honed a bit, produces 24 points of damage. Is that crap? Should I keep smithing so I can eventually improve it some more etc?

Edit: actually I just realised I'm using a Dawnbreaker which I can't improve.
