Not massivly into rpgs these days but im trying skyrim and taking it lighly. Here are some vids of my adventuring.

Who's decided to go Imperial/Stormcloak so far then, and why?

Personally, while the Empire is not without it's flaws, the Stormcloaks seem like a bunch of angry racists (I'm a Wood Elf), almost EDL-like in nature, so have sided with the Imperial Legion.

Considered reinstalling windows, assuming that you've already got all of the relevant windows/driver updates? Sounds like something is corrupt and finding out what that is will be far more hassle than just reinstalling the OS and downloading drivers/updates again. Quick and easy with W7.
 
Anyone a vampire? curious to know if when you feed it kills your target or not, can't seem to find an answer on the wiki's.

I rolled an Imperial character, so decided to join the Legion. However I recently encountered Ulfric for the first time and he certainly makes an impassioned speach about the cause hes fighting for. Its really hard to know who is the "moral" choice in this story.

I think I'll roll a Nord and go Stormcloak for my 2nd playthrough, though that'll probably be a good while from now.
 
The Stormcloaks and Imperials are as "bad" (or good) as each other - there is no right or wrong choice. It's a personal decision and preference which one you side with (if you side with one at all).
 
hmm i just deleted(saved the save file though) skyrim folder in my games folder, also ran verify game file integrity using steam and the object spazing out seem to got fixed :eek:

I don't hear spazing out in inns anymore and traps don't spaz out anymore, although once I shoot an arrow at a trap it gets broken, the trap is permanently pushed.

Now onto change ini files to get rid of mouse acceleration and turn vsync off, hopefull it won't break the game once again.

edit: meh, objects back to spazing out.

Thieve's guild spoilers:


so I've just found all 24 of the Barenziah Stones and returned them to Vex. She then told me to go get the crown the stones match with, so I did. After bring back the crown, it now sits in the hall with the items you sell to Delvin. However, when you look at it it says "activate Barenziah Crown", but nothing happens when I activate it. Any ideas why it's "activate"? Does it ever do anything?
 
Loving the way faces and eyes look with certain lighting effects on them. This is the priestess of Kyrandia Temple, I've got her the nettlebane and need to get sap now. :)

The cavern where the tree is is absolutely stunning! Lovely to look at.

But dont let your guard down, thats all im saying ;)
 


Pretty.

Started over with a Breton, as suggested. Enjoying things a little more now, but haven't done much of the main quest again.
 
Just started playing this and all the choices you have to make early on are a little daunting.

I went for a female Nord in the end. Does choosing a female character reduce your strength or anything?

Wow. Finding the 24 barenziah stones gives the most overpowered reward of all time. It's a perk/active effect that gives more chance of finding gems in chests. What it doesn't you is that it massively increases the chance. Like, I'm finding flawless diamonds, sapphires and other things worth 500+ gold in literally every chest and urn, even if there's just 5 gold in them.

No, but instead of warrior, mage of thief, you have to choose between wife, barwench or ... lady of the evening. :rolleyes:

No, there is no difference between choosing male and female, heck even the race choices are barely relevant unless you want to min/max.
 
I'm worried about levelling my smithing too fast, know it sounds stupid but its too easy to get it to 100 very quickly, I've held off at 50 but don't know when is a good time to up it and use the better stuff I can make without spoiling the game :(

edit: I'm lvl 13 on this char
