Those sorts of players will just do something else if the IRNV becomes useless. They will still run around only interested in kills whilst ignoring objectives. Just without an IR scope.

Battlefield has always had a mixed field of players, with some of it playing the game properly and following the objectives, and others just interested in their stats.

Yes they will do something else just to get kill, but that bothers me much less.

It takes both game design and players to define how a game can be played and nerfing the IRNV lessons another negative aspect.

Its like saying not to ban hard drugs because they will turn to something else.
Nothing else that could be done in all the BF games have gotten up my nose more so than the IRNV.

Finally got all network and connection issues resolved, now I can play the game, I have to say, it's quite good fun and my rage from dying due to lag has ended.

Nope not buying it

I have the IRNV scope on a couple of my guns, which i use for specific purposes (Operation Metro, Tunnel inside of Damavand peak etc..)

And i most certainly don't play the game like kills are all that matters. The scope is great for picking people up in the dark. Which is exactly what it was intended for.

There is no such recoil and the aiming for BF3 is for noobs and like really easy !

1) I said nothing about how you would play, it does not matter light or dark it works no matter what.
Its like saying You don't buy it that people use hacks because you don't personally is a weak argument.
The scope is great for picking people up period.

Its not a single player game and it seems you have missed the point that its not about how you or i play that makes a good game when its multi player because everyone matters.

I just quit a server because all the flags were taken so i counted the snipers on my side which came to 15, there is no point pretending that my game play alone would change the outcome in anyway and only leads to be getting killed far more often because there is no one to back me up because half the side is up in the hills.

The game play is not as good as BF2 because everyone stood a better chance because of the weapons no matter how others liked to play, even new players.
Things need nerfing.

You appear to be agreeing with me and highlight another way that players go off and play the game in their own way (by ignoring flags and sniping)

Sad thing is the game is played the way it is due to all the bs stats. Remove the stats = better game. It won't happen as the kiddies love stats but it is the solution.

Trying to find a few good servers to play is more challenging than the game itself.

You'd need to do more than remove stats

You'd need to remove Kills and Deaths from the scoreboards as well and just have points quoted.

They should give the IR scope a battery that only lasts say 1 minute and drains whenever it is up to the eye. When the battery is depleted it should take a minimum 2 minutes to recharge and is unusable until it does. And I've said before any source of heat should blind IR users for a couple seconds even when they de-scope, e.g. nades or my favourite dedicated thermal nades which would destroy their sight for 30 15 seconds or more. People would soon think twice about using them then.

What are you on about? Jeez. Are you complaining that a forum member set up a server and gave it the same name as his forum name? The horror! I think he's pretty decent for doing it...what is it you do/bring to the forum exactly?
