**The Official Nokia Lumia 800 Thread***

Is that the one you are going for? :p

Good lord no!

The blue is superb, assuming this is basically the N9 but a bit smaller, it feels and looks fantastic. I actually like it more than the iPhone 4 design and it should be far more durable too in the event of a drop (and I don't say that lightly, the iPhone 4 design is magnificent as well).

This phone looks really nice, and I actually would have picked it instead of the nexus if it was £35 pm, but it was £37 pm which wasnt worth it compared to a galaxy nexus which has all the latest stuff.

I doubt that T mobile will give me one for cheap on £10 pm, but I will see. The minimum contract price for the 50% discount is £35 pm, and also you cant change tariffs anymore without losing the discount, so it hs to be £100 max on £10 pm and I take one, otherwise I drop my T mobile contract. They are normally terrible when it comes to loyalty, so I dont expect it to happen.

Because the Titan is big, ugly and made by HTC :p

hehe
Im starting to think that I will get Lumia (in blue :p ) over nexus...
I will wait until 28th and see if CPW will have other colours in stock or maybe direct from Tmobile.

only shame is all wasted money on android games ;)

and need to investigate how it is with windows and games...any emulators ? games for free?

I have had the chance to play with the Titan at work and for me personally, it's too big. The Radar on the other hand is perfect but I'm getting bored of that grey HTC look that goes as far back as the HTC Desire IIRC. The Lumia is just refreshing and fantastic to hold. Whenever we get some Blue and Pink models in, I'll let you guys know.

can someone point me in to right direction for a good WM forum?
are there hacked apps somewhere? tips & tricks? ;)

It's not basically the N9 but a bit smaller...Size wise it is exactly the same. The only difference being the couple of dozen pixels chopped off the bottom to make a 480x800 resolution screen, which coincidently perfectly fits the 4 buttons. I assume (not 100% certain) that the screen is exactly the same width on both, just the loss of those couple of dozen pixels on the vertical end change the screen from 3.9 to 3.7".

Aha, fair enough. That's fine though, the N9 was an excellent size. :)

Hrmm unless I'm missing an option I don't like the way it works with mail, if I modify my mail (delete etc) it doesn't update until I manually refresh even if I leave the mail app and return to it and it tells me it's synched, might be useful behavior when I'm outside but not when I'm on wifi.

The colours look OK from the camera outside although I had several blurry shots even in pretty easy conditions.

I'm glad I got it but I do wish the screen were higher resolution, it's quite obvious when you're browsing the web and the text is small but I love the fact it can do proper black. The battery life isn't great either but it should last over a day on low to moderate use which I can live with but I will miss the dock a lot especially compared to the top cover which I can see a lot of people breaking.

That's odd, when I delete stuff from my gmail the message immediately disappears, can you tell me how that works for you in detail? When I delete a mail, it'll automatically disappear "below" and when I do return to the mail-app, it doesn't reappear either.

I'm accessing my gmail account on several devices, if I delete it from my Windows Phone then it's still present in my inbox when I check with other clients (web via pc, android, iphone etc).

So just using the Windows Phone it looks correct but on another client it hasn't updated the changes until you hit the refresh button but what surprised me is it still doesn't update even when you leave the app and return later (although I haven't tried leaving it alone for several minutes).

Oh, I only just looked up sim free prices on the Lumia - its around £470 sim free, when I thought it was £360.

So I'll take one if I can haggle it for £200 on £10 pm (can also have a free 500 mb internet booster on this, so the phone is completely usable for 24 months), otherwise cancel my T Mobile contract.

I must practice my speech skills :(

its £399 from p4u

its £399 from p4u

Link please? Cant see this on P4U website.

I'll want to quite the lowest sim free price and ask T Mobile to match it on £10 pm. I've gotta have the internet booster on top, not bothered at all about the 75 mins and texts.

I only now noticed this, you're right, but on the other hand many of the messages I deleted on my phone before don't show on my pc, while the one I sent to myself just now still does even though I deleted it from my phone. Just a question of time? I'll be looking into this.
