** MAYHEMS AURORA - Pearlescent Watercooling Fluids **

Pastel works on every thing so you'll be fine with that.

Thanks. Would I be ok to add some dye to the pastel coolant? I'm trying to keep it close to the Asus ROG / EVGA red colour scheme and the light red looks a bit... light and the dark red has a hint of brown in the pictures I've seen.

If it would be ok, would you suggest starting with the white or the light red?

Not too bothered about staining as the tubing gets changed far too regularly anyway and I can't see the insides of the blocks.

Yes you can get the white and use Dyes to adjust the colours. Thats all we do.

Dont forget though your fighting a white back ground colour which is very strong. For a good deep red i suggest getting red Dye and a smigin of blue dye to darken the town down a little.

thanks, I don't think I can use aurora in my Rig then:(

does pastel have any particle settling effect or is it 100% suspended?

If left over a 2 month period it falls out at about 10 to 15% (leaving 90 to 85% suspended) How ever due to it 40nm size with will be re-suspended with in seconds of the pump turning back on.

Brilliant. Sure this will allay quite a few concerns.

what will the aurora be like in a chiller setup?
im going to be running a hailea hc500 soon which will have 1 x cpu block and 1 x 6990 block as well as the chiller in the loop....im thinking it will flow better as the chiller wont have narrow corridors to flow through like a rad would?

I cannot say what it will be like in a chiller, i have not tested it in mine.

ok well put it another way then....
with your vast knowledge of cooling fluids would you imagine aurora would flow better through a rad or chiller?
im not going to sue you if it dont work :)
just curious thats all
can i just say aurora looks fantastic...

phew well in a chiller it has the same as a rad to cool it down it al depends on the temps of the chiller and the factors including flow rates.

If your chiller is the same as a DDC 18w as in flow rates and pure pumping power (over head pressure) then i see not problem what so ever. How ever if its slow flow i would re-consider it.

The chiller i have i wouldn't use it my self as it doesn't have the pumping power.

That kit will be fine if you remove the jet plate out of the HF block and replace it with a jet plate 6. The pump will need running on full power as well. If you leave the current jet plat in and leave the pump on full power the life of the liquid is about 2 to 3 months max.
