Hardly
That score was Team Deathmatch. The only objective is to kill people. Play the game how you want.
Doesnt mean you aren't going to take flack from me for lacking in skill by resorting to compaing mind. But its a perfectly valid tactic and theres nothing actually wrong with it.
Heck as defenders on rush its pretty much your mandate. I hate it when playing defense on rush that some team mates just run off into the distance like rambo completely forgetting they are supposed to be defending the objectives.
You talk about tactics being valid then lambast people who use tactics in rush.

Here's the jist of it since you don't seem to understand it:
In rush, the attackers have to travel quite some distance to get to the arm points, however the defenders spawn a little behind them. Where is a good place to be? Depending on the map design, but usually ahead of the arms points towards the spawn of the attackers when playing defence.
Why?
Because usually the maps are designed with the intent of making it hard to defend from behind the points with bits and bobs obscuring them. So therefore why run closer towards the choke points near attackers spawn?
Because in the event that you do die and the attackers do get through, how long does it take you spawn vs the time it takes the attackers to get to the point.
See there is the tactic, by running up the field you are negating the time it takes to respawn and should be able to get back to the field in time to stop them arming it. Oh and none of this but if we form a solid line behind the point we will win, nope. Just 1 person dying opens an opportunity then for the point to be armed (even easier now with EOD bots).
So take the chokepoints and don't let them through.
