I believe so, the Assassin/Shadow AC's are more LS based - as they are mostly for DPS, although can tank.

My client is saying "You are logging in from a region that we do not allow someone to play from" anybody else getting this problem?

Humm I got the email about it friday, my friend also got one and is playing right now as hes a jobless bum.

Hmm unless they're sending out invites under the radar then the last time general testing invites went out was the 10th.

I better check my email :o

Edit: Only got the one email about the beta weekend :(. They don't make it very clear though, they don't mention any dates in the email and it could easily sound like a general testing invite if you didn't know any different.

Cheers, should work alright on my PC then.

Ive got a laptop with i5-520M (or 540m cant remember), with 4GB RAM and an nVidia GT330M graphics card (discrete 1GB VRAM).

My laptop screen is full HD, so Im going to be interested to see how it runs at full HD res, or if Ill have to dial it back to 1366 x 768. I dont mid turning shadows/bloom and stuff off if needed.

if www.swtor.com/tester shows

"General Testing - In Progress" then you are; but it was a few weeks back they sent them, nothing but weekend ones gone out since according to official swtor site.

Not doubting you at all mate, just saying you could have been in for some time!

Aye mine does say that, only got the email about it on friday though so they must have sent out another wave or something :S. I got an email about the weekend one asking me to RSVP, then another one after that about beta. Weird!

Definitely bad!

Normally play archer/range type characters in MMO's, and up close damage dealers like a DPS warrior in WoW

Healers never appeal to me really

for fun factor, i would recommend Bounty Hunter then - Merc route for DPS - more range... or Inquisitor - going the Assassin route for melee dps
