I can sell the Galaxy Nexus for at least £100 more than a SGII if I want to after getting a Lumia on my current contract!

Get Lumia for £315, unlock for £10, pop in 3 contract with One Plan, sell Galaxy Nexus. I dont want to but its an option I have

The Lumia on 3 was only £72 less than the Galaxy Nexus, and those are the only two phones I currently want.

i cant copy any files to the device, tried 3 win7 pc's and two cables. on my laptop i managed to copy 45meg before it bombed out with not responding.

I would contact who supplied it and make them awate of the
problem. If your not happy then arrange to return it.

Would you mind putting up a screenshot of Your About phone screen?
Just interested to if there are any differences.

My galaxy S2 did that. Just needed the Drivers that came with samsung Kies intalling on the PC, I know it doesnt use Kies but try installing it anyway just for the drivers

You've decided you don't want the Nexus and happy with your GS2.

wondering if kies was the issue, because i did previously have it installed.

i reset the phone, i dont think you can format in windows

installing the bit of crap that is kies to see if its a driver

Seems the volume dropping bug is definitely a Radio Frequency Interference problem for O2 and Vodafone working in 2G at 900Mhz.

Below is a video of an N1 with an O2 sim causing the Galaxy Nexus to decrease its volume:

Should be a fix relatively soon I reckon.

Resetting the phone doesn't touch internal storage afaik, you have to format that seperatly.

That was my thought, its strange he has sdk on his phone, i was thinking it may be a developer phone ...guess not.

When i did a factory reset earlier today it wiped everything!

I followed this workaround this morning:

Then in the ‘testing’ menu which opens up click on ‘phone information’

Then set the phone to “WCDMA Only” …

Can anybody tell me what the default is in that menu?

Jealousy implies I can't gain access to, or afford a Nexus. I can do either. I am choosing not to because it's not a big enough step up from a sgs2.

When asking the same question to others all I get is attitude. I wonder if I'd get the same negative reaction if it wasn't for the volume bug, or the poor battery life.
