Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

Hey im new to the forum just signed up yesterday i was wondering if anyone else has had this glitch happen to them before as it's happened to me a few times (maybe 3 times in total)

Start a game sprinting change weapons when all of a sudden my weapon dissapears but i can still shoot and i appear to be "gliding" instead of running i saw a recon class last night gliding along the floor crouched im not sure if this was the same thing but it looked weird!

btw my Battlelog and game are both up to date i assume as well as graphics drivers anyways a clip of the glitch is below.

You can unlock rocket pods (similar idea to the hydra rockets the gunship chopper pilots get) and guided missiles (lock on jobs, like the missiles the jets had in BF2). No bombs.

The guided missiles are useless at the moment, but the rocket pods are pretty decent.

Decreased the maximum damage and maximum range of the G3 and SCAR-H 7.62mm weapons.

G36C
Ammunition 30 [5.56x45mm NATO]

Ammunition 20 [7.62x51mm NATO]

The G3 (the big battle rifle you get for COOP) was nerfed, not the G36C (the engineer unlock).

Same problem now, since I bought the game my exits were down from 88% (all freezes) to 39% yesterday now with the new patch its starting to rise again, at the moment 44%.

meh, i really hoped they would do something with the commo rose, i don't see anything about it in that change/patch log.

Yep happened to me other night on smogsys only done it once mind on the canals map felt like ghost cam until i died then went back to normal dont think its server related just a glitch in game maybe patch has fixed this now i dunno

malaware

getting some malaware in BF3 patch when I start my computer, what are other players doing telling the computer to always ignore it ? I have avira software.

Glad to know im not the only one just updated my game just now but im still having problems with locking and black screening while joining a game Grrr a month to release a patch and it's still not fixed!!!
but yeah the weird ghost physics are weird when it happens feels like you can move faster than other players if that makes sense!
(like it will stop me playing!!)

well i cant see any difference .. ump still sucks .. f2000 still owns . only decent thing is squads kinda work . never had issues with crashes etc . if any of the guns were nerfed i cant feel it . must try harder dice !! and battlelog seems kinda broke ...for me anyway .. doesent seem to want to update my details :/

Did you play on a server who's settings don't match DICE's idea of the settings a ranked server should have? It's one of the patch changes.

Anything like extra tickets, non standard number of players, or low minimum number of players needed to start a round could cause this.

yes was a 1000 ticket server .. i got my stats and unlocks but nothng published on my battlelog

Ok I have been reading about the patch all morning at work.....just got home and went to dl it.....and I can't actually find it on origin store or on their forums.
Weird thing is, I decided to start a game hoping that it would direct me to it, but no the game worked, the squad system is now coloured, as per new patch.
So how has it patched itself when the PC has been off all morning and origin is set in msconfig not to auto load anyway ?

PS. How exactly did you guys find the patch, as in where ?
