*** The Elder Scrolls 5 - Skyrim Official Thread ***

I think the Draugr Deathlord and Morokei have been the most difficult fights in my thirty hours so far. I was ready to pack up. Thankfully, I got there in the end.

Morokei was so easy .. though I probably cheated.

I released him from that bubble thing he was in. by chatting to one of those dudes. I then just played peek-a-boo with him! :D I remained upstairs, while he was down there. I only popped my head out of cover now and again to send a fireball his way

The official guide is in stock at game for £17.99 if anyone is wanting one.....

Edit - Out of stock already wow that was quick.....

They have the game and guide bundle in stock for £49.99 which is a great deal, seeing as the guide is selling for £40 on amazon.

I have also noticed that any time I have come accross some of the Falmers they seem to be real tough, I spent two hours one night just trying to take them out one at a time, if they come in a pack of two or more your toast, especially in the caves. Their basic weapons are pretty strong too.

You may already do this but just in case:

Sneak, *hidden*, take a shot, move (whilst sneaking) away from where you shot at them, *hidden*, move back, take another shot, rinse, repeat... :D

Yea that was my original approach, but there were three and chaurus standing so close to each other at a round walkway surrounded by water. Once I poped one arrow the whole three came running. I basically had to use a mixture of runes spells, Flames, shouts (namely the Unrelenting Force to get them away from me) and two handed while running backwards. Was a real pain but I got there :D

This is now my third day at attempting to reach Ivarstead.

I am worried about using my perks. I don't want to spend them then realise I made a mistake.

That sounds like me with Riften, it took me until 60+ hours of play to finally make it there, after repeated attempts. Good start to the Thieves Guild quests though :D

I'm going to delve into the scary Console section to ask a question which seems not to get a reply in the PC section -.-

Basically has anyone actually completed the main quest yet? If so, did it have any effect on alternative quest lines, or whether Dragons keep respawning or anything? Is it like Oblivion where if you completed the main quest gates kept opening, or can I keep killing dragons after the main quest?
