The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

Right, my one handed and archery skills have turned red and not showing their true value anymore, i dont have any disease active, ive been to a temple and used the shrine just incase but no change

Im totally confused about it and cant work out why.
 
Well my one handed is something silly like 70+, so it showing 20 and being red is quite alarming.

Edit..just thought, does that skill number actually alter the weapons in any way.
Edit2, is it because im a warewolf? i knew i shouldnt of said yes to them, bloody peer pressure lol.

I also mysteriously contracted Witbane despite having 100% disease immunity. Although it may be to do with the fact I just run through traps and don't try dodge them :)

Cant remember how many skills there are total, but there's 1 starts at 25 and 4 starting at 20 per race (iirc). Skill cap is 100, so:

(75+(4*80)+(howevermanyremaining skills there are *85))all divided by 10 and plus 1 (starting)

and that should in theory be max level.

It shouldn't matter whether the skills are gained from progression, purchasing or quest rewards as far as I can figure, it's just a pure case of advancing 10 skills for 1 level increase.

I'm at work otherwise I'd actually check this before wittering away, but it seems right to me anyway ;)

Maybe you contracted it before you got the 100% disease immunity? Depends if you have it as a racial trait or as a result of some in game shenanigans :)

Seems to be a glitch. If you look at the corresponding perk, the true value is there. Apparently, if you get another point in the skill, it should return. I've got the same issue with archery at 25, in reality it's 44 - will go hunting mammoths to test and confirm tonight.
 
I had to re-roll... I got to the point in the story when I had to talk to an old man who had locked himself in a room(I'm purposely saying it like this as to not spoil things). We set off and none of his dialogue was playing... and this continued and didn't fix itself(I had to type a command in the console for him to open the darn door as well! I forgive this considering how MASSIVE the game is).

Anyway, rolled a high elf mage type, magic is defo the way to go(even though I had dreams of being Conan, but magic is just so much fun).

Amazing game, Bethsheda, I salute you.

On a side note... I flogged my PS3 version and bought the PC version. Glad I did. These guys still respect the PC platform.
 
crashing like a freak now at least once an hour.... lvl 41 spent some silly time on it.

its mildly annoying

Took a bit of getting into again after Oblivion but i am hooked again.

some very, very funny quests and i loved the thieves guild nightingale story.

No pint console hacking stuff, i cant believe so many people so it off the bat and Min Max in a single player game... who cares? the NPCs? lol
 
Wondering if its worth continuing my skyrim vids or not, i get about 40 views but no comments really cept mates who i notify i have posted a new one.

Does anyone here watch and like the vids?
