Must say I've only got about 8 hourz of plodding through in (currently lvl8) but I'm already very impressed, its a bit difficult to know what to use to make potions but u might google for a guide or look around town as I seem to be wasting a lot of things.

I also made the mistake of selling my dragon bones and scales on a clearout of heavy items so I'm hoping there a few others to fight (from what ivr heard there is a few)

There's more than a few to fight, let's put it that way. :p

Just remember to EAT every ingredient that you get, it will give their base effects, then you can use them to make stronger potions and if you mix the right three together, you unlock more of their properties :D

Oh ace cheers ill give that a go later should save me hours of trial and error

Is it just me or dose the games AI seem to get harder all of a sudden. Im level 32 and I now seem to have gone from being God like, to get getting my ass handed to me by almost eveyone.
Im downing potions like it was a boozey weekend and a lot of the times it seems to be pretty hard to get to use your heal magic as your getting chased at the same time.
I have spent a lot of time getting my smithing level up and my strongest weapon is about 63 damage with 18 fire damage.

I take it my weapons are just pants at this stage. Im trying not to change any of the weapons or upgrade them yet as I want to get the Dragon armour first then work from there, or am I going the wrong way about it?

Im trying the Azuras shrine quest and the mage is seriously kicking my ass in literaly seconds :(

Just managed to do that quest after numerous deaths.

If you have the sanguine rose staff it is a big help (For me at least) Also i managed to find a safe spot where i was taking no damage. If you follow the path and crouch behind the icicles on the right side just before the path turns left you should be able to avoid damage. I just kept on spamming my summon over and over until the 3 were dead :D

Unfortuantly I dont have that staff, I will have to do it the hard way tonight and try the run and gun approach, as long as I can get rid of those skellys he wakes up first then just keep wacking him with destruction spells.......we will see :(

Was there a way to get rid of this awful lag? (PS3) save file is roughly 9mb big now and the lag is becoming horrendus just about at all times and pretty annoying. Were people saving the file to a usb or something? im assuming that it's the save file size that causes it?

Save the game exit, and re-load it. I only have 5 save game files + the auto saves and it seem to be ok most of the time.

Been on Fifa for a few days but come back to this now. Love has been rekindled. Made full Orcish and then made it all flawless including the sword. 386 armour rating now! :D Just took out a giant camp with ease too. Level 25. Back on after I'm a c'leb now.

I know, it's terrible. Almost unplayable most of the time, especially during battles. Been playing MW3 for the time being, which is utterly surprising as I don't like it.

I've saved and reloaded but it does absolutely nothing.

I got by that mage last night quite proud of the way I handled it :D

I managed to sneak up to him fire an arrow and then run away, I noticed that once I did this 7 times he then healed himself, so I did it again after the 6th time, I armed myslef with the Elven flawless lightning sword in the right hand and the "steadfast ward" in the left, I ran at him blasting the ward so his magic did nothing to me then finished him off with the sword with a very satisfying sword in the chest animation :D, made my night.

I have been dying to get my hands on some ebony armor but the ingots are too expensive, but I found this last night was amazed.

I did the "Boethiah's Calling" side quest and I then received the Ebony armor with the a 25% sneak perk which makes you very hard to be heard and if an enemy gets to close they get 5% poisin evey second. The COOLEST thing about it is when you crouch to go to sneak mode you turn black with smoke coming out of you (makes a cool noise when you change too lol), also it happens when you are attacked normaly, its sooooo freakin cool, loved it and cost me nothing for the armor :D

Gloombound mine is a great place to get ebony ore. There are around 19 veins and also you can steal a few ingots too :D
I now have a full set of Legendary Daedric armour and a set of Legendary Dragonplate armour for my companion. You can also buy ebony ingots from the blacksmith in whiterun (The one located near the entrance) Think the skyforge guy sells them too.

Was trying to do a quest last night and the closest place to start from was the Western Watchtower. Fast travelled there and low and behold there was a dragon, I then turned around and saw a second :( luckily I was riding Shadowmere, had someone else with me, had the ability to conjure up a flame atronach and there were a bunch of Whiterun guards. 2 souls later and I was very happy :D

You will also find, as the guide hints, that you are only supposed to unlock maybe 3-5 shouts in their entirety, since you need one soul per word (3 in total per shout). The most useful for me, which the player has to unlock are the Fire Breath, Ethereal Form and Throw Voice.

Any chance you could elaborate on this please? Should I not be unlocking every shout I find for some reason?

No, all it says is

"Do you know all three Words for five Shouts? Then you’ll need to slay and absorb the souls of fifteen dragons to fully unlock them all. That’s a tall order, so consider carefully which Shouts you really need, and spend your Dragon Souls wisely. For example, the Aura Whisper Shout (which tracks the movement of a foe) is great for an assassin, but is less useful for a berserker who simply charges into the fray."

I suppose when you think about it, it is a tall order. Most of the powers that I've come across so far are quite useless without the third word. And in 50 hours of play, I've only slayed about 6 dragons.

Word of warning for anyone getting married....make sure you get all your good gear back first unless you fancy buying it all back off your new spouse  Lucky i saved beforehand :D

Some of my Misc quests objectives don't come up on my map when both misc and the quest in.. erm... question is ticked.

Do any of you get the same thing? One particular quest I can think of is the "find the Redguard woman" quest.
