Toys R Us UK Black Friday

On one hand we will have people complaining that the US get a bunch of crazy deals that we don't get. Now that we get them we have people complaining that it's American and we shouldn't be doing it.

As for what the deals are, some of the American ones have been ridiculous. PS3s and games and stuff that is usually $350 on sale for $199.

Also a bunch of the "people getting beaten to death" stuff has stopped now that more stores let people in in a slightly more controlled pace or give out vouchers to people in the queue.

Not quite sure I see the harm myself. Businesses get some extra revenue in, customers get some cracking deals if they are lucky.

Every time the Americans celebrate something to do with the war of independence, we should ask them to pay their damned tax bill.

Really how good are these deals? Are they say any better than the usual random deals most websites spring up on a daily basis?

Sick of all this black Friday rubbish, its an American tradition slowly being brought to the UK by massive American corporations, going mad for stuff you dont need, just what the economy needs and max out the CCs.

Seeing the youtube videos of grown adults fighting for the last toy or electronic device on a shelf is sickening.

why does every post of yours about christmas, sales, or just shopping in general contain this phrase?

does it not occur to you that some people can afford to buy things without resorting to a credit card, never mind "max it out"

but how do you know that is people "maxing out" their credit cards?

much less, how do u know it was specifically for xmas?

Please dont google a big number and try to pretend your post had any more basis than your own stupidity.

Oh please, yeah people spend cash but people spend on CCs massively without thinking.

Just look at the economy, that proves how bad spending is, nobody has any "real" money left

Plus look at all the robbers happening close to xmas time again, people stealing just to buy presents instead of going to work or going without! ;)
