Shame but I'm sure we'll still manage
Also theres PvP and PvE on both types of servers, just on a PvP server your flagged for PvP, so you can get ganked a lot when leveling up
lol typical PvE players answer, the correct way to look at this is: both factions are at war, on a PvP server when you see the other side you can kill them, run or hide away, pretty much how it should be.
On a PvE server you can do nothing to them and visa versus, which is fine if thats what you want.
What always make me laugh is the carebears are always on about being ganked, tells me 2 things a) they like to cry a lot and b) They once went on a PvP server got there asses handed to them and instead of leveling getting better and paying back, they left, and still cry about it for ever.
In PvP there is the added attraction/excitement that you can be killed by the other side at any time on any quest (bar the starter planets, capital cities and Taris), which is for me how it should be as we in a state of undeclared war. This is never present on a PvE server which takes a lot out of the game for me.
Yes there is a chance you can get hunted down and killed repeatably (what the carebearts who like crying call been ganked), the only way around this is to belong to a strong enough guild with players who play for each other so when you in trouble help will arrive.
Or you can just go on the PvE server with the other carebears and whine about how unfair it is to have PvP servers.
Guild size here does not really matter its the type of guild that counts, we
The Immortals once had a full on guild war with a guild called Synix on AoC (a game where you could be killed almost everywhere). When this started we were a guild of maybe 25 players (on PvP server, we rolled PvP and PvE) they were a max sized guild (500) about 6 months later that guild shut down and disappeared, even tho when this war started everyone on the server laughed at as saying we had no chance, we stuck together and hunted them down, we made the game unplayable for any person with the Synix name, and anyone ever found to be grouping with them.
Why did we win, well besides me being a mean *******, we stuck together, we added them as we met them to our friends list we knew when they were on line and we chased them, where we played as a group they did not.
I had a alt (lil spy in there guild) when they folded the guy running it, (who in fact was the second in command) said he can not play the game anymore he logs in we kill him, he res we waiting at res-point and kill him .. where ever he was we killed him ... thats what I call playing as a team.
lol this started out as a short answer .. kk off me soap box now.
PvP servers add spice to the game that can never be got on a PvE server.
O yeah as to not having a VIOP, its gonna be a bit crappy raiding with out one, go to mulitplay they dirt cheap for a 20 man VIOP. I could not imagine ever raiding without voice chat, in fact to stay in our guild its a requirement that everyone signs up and makes a appearance on our VOIP, and to raid or join any guild event you must be on it.
