Getting disconnected from ea servers message everytime i switch server for the 1st time, more frequent crashes, never had the game crash once mid game pre-patch, only had it once post patch tho.
Having to ctrl alt and del hell of a lot more to manually close the game.
Losing my enthusiasm for the game rapidly. Patch fixes things for some and breaks things for others.
Unfortunately i fall into the latter :(

The " disconnected from ea servers " is the 15 sec delay before you can join another server. Joining so many servers that are getting owned, leaving and trying another means i see this message a lot.

I find the jet cannon underpowered against anything other than jets. I want to attack tanks like with the AH-10 Warthog, but I barely get a disabled vehicle if I try hard.

That sucks m8, my brother-in-law is only able to play on servers NOT running PB atm due to the hardlock crashes every few minutes on servers with PB running, looking like the only fix for him is a soundcard or USB headset and disable on-board sound :mad:
 
overall i am happy with the patch cos i can now play properly in eyefinity without having to go through a complicated routine everytime i started the game and without getting blinded by the sun all the time.
but there are quite a few new bugs i am noticing.
like everytime i start the game now, by hud is shifted over to the left slightly so my crosshairs aren't in the middle. i have to change res then change back again to fix it, everytime.
also my keybinds don't all work, but in a strange inconsistant way. like only with some classes, but in other classes they work ok.
been too busy with technical issues to notice any differences with weapons, but i have now concluded that the javelin is next to useless now unless you are going after a beginner pilot..

also just remembered i am sometimes failing to join servers due to being disconnected to ea which i never had before.

Well I was angry yesterday afternoon, after I installed the patch, every server I joined and I mean every one was being completely dominated, I couldn't understand it. Surly it wasn't just bad luck?

Then its was as if I was some kind of Noob who hadn't played before, great shots weren't getting kills and I was getting owned in seconds, clear headshots and no kill then they would turn around not knowing were the shot came from and boom i'm dead!

I had to turn it off before I smashed my desk up!! hehe

In my opinion the balance isn't completely broken, just the attack helicopter is a lot more deadly now. I assume because no one bothers with stingers anymore.

Hopefully that means a lot more people will carry SOFLAM and Javelin!

Bring back the BC2 tracer dart, RPG combo tho imho :cool:
 
Hi, I'm having some problems with "slow" mouse when controlling vehicle turrets, especially AA, it's like I have to pick-up the mouse from the mat just to get a complete rotation.

Can anyone recommend some settings for super quick turret control?

What mouse you got? Thats why I love my G9, as I can just turn up the speed when in tanks etc.

Tho as said previous only 3 people have admin access, so drama queens looking to justify a random kicking by crying here :D

I took the name out to limit out clan's exposure on here. Its made no difference, lots of OcUK'ers play on our servers and tbh since dropping the name the servers have been mental case in point:




We’re big yes, but my word is it under control. We currently have match practise twice a week with 16 clan members turning up. We have 3 teams in ladders, a hardcore team, casual but very active team and a turn up and play team :D …. We have around 25 going to the next i-series, So if a few people on here feel the need to slander my clan carry on as we’ll have the last laugh…. Also if individual clan members felt the need to say how they felt about smogsy so what…. A few people felt let down by him.

Anyways moving on.

I really enjoy flying choppers. The problem is (the patch did help) the amout of AA. I was on a server last night, i was getting shot by tanks anti air, buggy anti air, stingers, AA guns and not to mention other helis and jets. Could hardly leave my base. It's impossible to do damage in a server with high rank players that have a lot of unlocks.
 
Still got buggeration with keybinds. Last night i went through them all to ensure they were correct. Admittedly i had goofed quite a few up on initial setup.
However for every, option (infantry, vehicle, jet, helicopter etc) i have PGDN to 'enter/exit' vehicle and PGUP to 'interact'. Yet i have to press PGUP to enter/exit a vehicle. Que le f...?
I made sure that the mouse and joypad columns are enpty for this particualr command just in case.
I don't even know what 'interact' is supposed to do, as opposed to 'enter/exit'.
Also, i've inverted my mouse for flight (as i do for infantry) but it ignores it. Switch it back to normal, no diff!!!! God it's so annoying.
The patch hasn't fixed that, OR the spawning near and enemy **** either!!
GGRRRRRrrrr !!!


edit: and too many people are abusing the 'glitches' in the game now, like vehicle repairing quicker than you can unload rockets onto them for the kill.....crazy!!!
