Actually unless they changed it in the patch, the grenade launcher is pretty decent against armour.

I'm hoping someone here can help.
I've had this game for a week and have only been able to play it once.
I had to download new gpu drivers at first but then it was fine
every time since then it goes to black screen when i try to start a game.
ive tried down clocking no joy
i've updated it.
i've tried repairing, it seems to stop repairing then tellme game is ready to instal then does so, then tells me again its ready to install and just cycles.
i've un installed and re installed to no joy
really want to play this

Try downloading and updating punkbuster. If not dnt worry I can't get it to work either.

Whats with all these servers, more and more of them disabling a spawn beacon when you die?? To make it easier to base rape teams?? Whats the point of having them anymore??
Was it introduced to the server side of the patch?? They may as well remove half the stuff they have potched with since the patch.
Now i join a server, place a spawn beacon, commit suicide and see if its still there. If it aint there, i leave the server. Great gameplay mechanic that fair play.
Nice one DICE, just tried it again, planted beacon, suicide and the beacon wasnt there, joined a squad and then tried to spawn after joining and there it was.
Sometimes forget to squad up on public servers, plant a beacon only to find that when i die it aint there anymore. The beacon is still there but you have to squad up 1st.

or Support, Im always engineer and mining the hell out of points so my friends just sit next to me dropping Ammo packs so I get more mines

Right at the start, when i join straight into a cap, instant gunfight, i forget to squad up and you have be in a squad to use your own beacon. Makes sense i suppose as it is meant to be a squad beacon but i am only just finding this out post patch.
Checking how many of your teammates are in squads is now essential if you want to have any hope of winning. 32 man server and when i see that over half my team arent even in squads tells me we havent got a chance of winning. Unless the other team does the same thing
Have you got the Russian version by chance? If so you'll need to sort out the language files again using the 1.1 patch.

In BC2 the XM8-P was the first unlock for the assault, and it was easily the best weapon
We thrashed it as attackers on Rush last night on Smogsy.
Just over ran the two elevators and poured a ton of suppressing fire at the doors, and right hand corridor.
I think we were on the top floor for about 5 minutes before we forced the RU players back to their starting point and about the same again for the last two MCOMS.
Its not that hard to get up the stairs if you all go toghether, its when you end up messing around with dribs and drabs and snipers tring to rush the stairs with bolt action rifles it gets stupid.
Yeah, the M320 is pretty good against light armour
I ditched it for the A91 and the G36C, i think the scar is rubbish, especially with so little ammo.
Ive had issues when clicking spawn on a player in a vehicle and it auto spawn me in base because they were a passenger in the vehicle and not driving it.. Why give me the option if Im not allowed to do it?!

In all the BF games, i've never used a headset for comms. Am i really missing out?
I think the only time i used it was back in the day and once you were killed you could tell your teammates where the enemy that just killed you was, which is basically cheating. Is it still like that?

since when has communicating your enemies movements been cheating ?
Thats what team play is all about ? thats what battlefield is all about !
If it was cheating, they wouldn't of put the chat box in for people to tell their team where the enemy is. I've often told my team when I get killed at a point (A,B,C etc) and they just swarm it and take out enemy.
Comms is a bit about the Q spotting, it just helps the team work together and get a bit of banter going to make it more enjoyable.
Not true! In every BF game with modern weapons the M4A1 (standard carbine) has been superb, not to mention the first sniper rifle in BF2 and BFBC2, etc.
Dunno if it was the same game but I was playing Metro on Smogsys last night. Defending, I set up my M249 on the bipod at the buffers at the end of the line where you have the big cave. Managed a good run of just pouring fire toward the hole in the roof as attackers came through. Got a good few of them too and made them back off and choose another route. Until the rest of my team were killed and I was defending alone, then someone got behind me and shot me in the back with his USPAM-12/frag rounds
