It's a sim only deal at £11 per month with the phone bought outright for £395. Cheapest way i could do it all things considered.

When I called to cancel OH's unused o2 contract I was offered 200mins, unlimited texts, 500MB data for £32/month for 12 months, and £172.99 for the phone. Total being £556.99. Though she told me I can lower the plan after 6 months so I could make it cheaper if required then.

I also have my o2 contract on upgrade for the same tariff, but 24m and £21.50/month for 24 months, and £179.99 for the phone. Total being £695.99. Though again I could lower after 9 months to make the term cheaper or pay off early, as I was going to originally, but given the 12m offer, I am going to cancel this upgrade tomorrow and get a PAC/move to PAYG on this number.

May try going outright and SIM only next time round, but who knows! ATM I just want the phone! The women in retentions told me 28th in stock too :)
 
having looked up the cheapest contract and finding that its on o2 i think o2 in my area is all 2g,

is there any variation between network speeds for internet on 2g? i doubt there is but i thought i might ask.

annoying i couldnt get a retentions deal on this through tmobile.
 
OK so here is a problem I am having with the People app, trying to sync to Google +


I have quite a few friends on there and everything is set to sync. On my PC in the circle I am most interested is 10 people. On the phone that circle shows 0 people. Now if I go to the people app and choose to display by Google+ contact, some people show up but not others. I have manually removed and added people over and over, and forced the phone to sync over and over but nothing is working. I even went to google contacts and added peoples profile information there but no joy. Linkedin worked flawlessly, as did Twitter. I can not delete the app to force it to start again but have manually made it sync in a number of different ways.


Also if I go to the Circle on my phone it says "10 people" in the top left yet also says no people on the very same page.........

I suspect the £250 will be like the £200 Samsung Entertainmant package I got for the Galaxy Tab.

The £100 voucher thing is a surprise as I thought we were only getting the other one. Is it a goodwill gesture?
 
tempted to get this as my next phone still - I have an iPhone 4 at the moment but don't really play games on it so not worried about the GPU being weaker then that of the S2 for instance.

The large screen is appealing - especially as I do tend to watch films a fair amount - what is the native MKV support like, I think i read it's not as good as the S2? Any truth in that?
 
the media processor on the nexus's soc supports high profile H.264. If the stock media player doesn't play mkv's then just find another player off the market.

try mobo player.
 
Can anyone tell me if this phone works with Orange Swappables? I have been trying to load the page up to add packages but does'nt seem to work. Am i doing something wrong.

All I have is the analog clock below centre of the search bar and the wavy blue lines wallpaper. Haven't come across any new clock widgets I like lately. As for other widgets, SwitchPro just looks too big these days.

Thanks, but without telling us how the Entertainment package you got worked, that's rather useless info :(

No, the guy in P4U mentioned the £100 vouchers when I bought it, so it was planned all along.
