Sorry dude, we try not to limit what DICE have put in the game. Bare in mind the server has only been open 2 hours. But hey our servers are full of 'childish admin and members' :o

Thegoon, there's much more to having a server than just having people in it the whole time. I'd much rather join a server which has a community/team part of it than just people there to stat/point whore?

There was even racism (and this went on in chat until I left) on the server and there were five TFU members on doing nothing about it. Not sure how you can condemn that..

Games are more fun when you're apart of something!

Who gives a rat's ass about who's server is best?

It's purely circumstantial.. Server settings and effective administration can only make it good to an extent. You have good games and you have bad games, just because one team is getting buttraped doesn't mean the server is a pile of crap!

Give the brown nosing a rest.. Smogsy this smogsy that, do you wanna jump off his pelvis any time soon? You act as if the poor socially deprived boy has saved lives! All he's done is advertise his server on here.. Same as anyone else.. What makes him different from the thousands of other server owners? Don't praise the man like he's a god just play the bloody game!
 
Awwww not fair, I was playing for ages!

Jumped into the heli, sound went brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and it froze :(. Same issue that affected realtek onboard sound users with bfbc2
 
Some nice teamwork on Smogsy's then, first time on it for a few weeks. Amazing, players actually thinking of each other. Never in a game on BF3 have I seen so many players waiting and looking out for each other.
*Edit. Oops, seems not a good time to have complimented a server by the last couple of posts.

Im a bit fed up with this game now, ever since the update it seems like its been killed. constant errors joining games and when i am in a game i get lag spikes, my fps is a good rate 40-59fps on the auto settings.
 
well so far I think my fav maps are

kharg island
Siene crossing


perhaps Bazzar, theran and caspian all ok

firestorm can be good also

canals sucks, metro sucks but good for getting xp
svanamnd peak average
 
@ Neil79 - what can we do about it? I love Metro but it is usually a mortar/sniper fest no matter what server you play on. And trust me, I have tried them all.

@ Lander, your comments are about as weighty as a gluon mate. Google it bro! I was convinced you hacked when you played alongside me... and low and behold... boom! Banned! Shame because you were an epic guy too... /me laughs

@ Others, don't like the servers, don't play on them. Go play on Smogsy's server and become a part of his little empire

Keep up the TFU hatred though. It is funny. We'll never bow down to the tools on this forum as other clans do. We don't need OCUK to fill our servers. Through research and hard work, ours fill themselves now. Unlike SMOGSY's servers who spams every man and his dog in his friends list until it is full - even TFU lol. See how long that lasts bro...

If you ever feel like getting your ass handed to you on a hardcore or software server - join a friendly TFU server near you

It does it with a dedicated card, i bought a xonar DX a few months after my spec in sig, afterburner and pb gave me the brrrrrrr in bc2, renamed rtcore.cfg in afterburner, bc2 and bf3 dont give me that any more, just the bf3 has stopped responding, ive put my cpu down to 4.0ghz, tested stable, stock gpu's, ive even tried a totally stock system. Still the same.
 
I haven't played many hours on this game yet, but tbh it's getting quite boring already and not really that much fun - i'm tempted to head back to BC2 or even BF2! Unlocking a new weapon and then having to grind through and unlock all the same attachments over and over :rolleyes: And although some of the map sizes are pretty huge the capture points are so close together and the weapon handling makes it feel very much like COD4, which dont get me wrong was a fantastic game, but it's total run and gun with almost no tactics involved.

Someone said earlier it could have done with extra 3-4 months in development - yes, yes it could! Hell I'd happily give it back to EA/DICE now and not play it for another year if it meant they could bring out a proper, finished BF game. I cant see that there is much point competing with Activision/COD if they are just going to kill the BF franchise a little bit more each time.
