There are games for Android that top over 1GB? Crazy.
I had over 100 apps on my SGS2 and was using less than 500MB of storage for all plus their data.

FIFA 12 alone is 1.7GB and the number of them is only going to increase as more and more iPhone games get ported.

I have single apps that are bigger than your entire collection.

anyone else got an issue when writing a text message, i can correct a word but then it puts it back to the original incorrect spelling?

Yep I encountered this problem the other day.

I find its fine if you autochange it straight away but if you go back through the message afterwards and correct words they just dont change to the correct spelling.

How incredibly bloated apps have become for a mobile device! What apps do you have that are larger than 500MB for Android, out of interest? :)

In my case, not counting games, it's really apps that make use of various data that doesn't come with the app (more the data/media they use than the apps themselves). For example epwing files for EBPocket Pro are hundreds of MB each and they are essential for me. I have over 1GB of media required for my AnkiDroid decks. The iKnow app requires a lot of audio files. Things like that

It's the games that are huge though. I've only just made the move to Android however, so I still have only a few apps and I'm not about to repurchase all the games I already own on iOS. However on my iPhone I have over 17GB of apps and there are many games over 500MB in size, which adds up very quickly.

It isn't such a problem on Android right now as the app selection is still pretty poor compared to iOS, but as it grows the number of large apps will increase. Also note that when it comes to games, the size given in the marketplace can be very misleading as it only gives the size of the apk (eg: Shadowgun is listed as 6MB, but downloads ~400MB of additional data when installed).

Indeed, it isn't enough but it can easily be lived with for some, not for others.

I think I'll manage, I don't record many videos really and a few GB of music is fine (I don't really listen to it anyway :p).

i don't think anyone on here is arguing for having no sd slot. i certainly would love one and have a redundant 16gb card in a draw loaded with music :(

its just learning to live with it.

Really want to pick this up, due an upgrade at the end of Janurary. Cant find it on any reasonably priced contracts at all :( I dont really want to pay £50 a month for a phone when I'm not certain If I've a job after summer

It's easy to do. I've got 2GB of music (20 albums) on mine and I find that is quite sufficient for my needs.

Anyway, still no sign of the case.

Torn between this and the Lumia 800! Due to the UI of the nokia, and free sat nav for me is awesome! Had the SGS before, maybe i just want a change can't decide.

Only thing i guess putting me off the lumia is the screen size and lack of apps compared to Android, damn decisions :(
