Sometimes I'm ashamed to be British...

As I think you stated OP, you don't have to venture beyond these very forums to encounter racist comments. Albeit dressed up nicely.

I've seen the vid and she looked wasted. She should be investigated by the Social Services for being in charge of a child in that state.

I feel so sorry for that child.

Chances are, as well as being uneducated, she's probably quite poor. I've noticed that a lot of the people who whole similar views tend to live in the kinds of areas that attract immigrants (cheap) - and as they tend to clump/band together (safety, familiarity in their own culture, people they know) - they are viewed as a menace, 'taking jobs', causing problems, and simply being different to the norm.

Your more than likely right; can't get my head around it to be honest. Maybe it's easier to blame outsiders for problems (or those different in some way) rather then looking at themselves to see what they are doing wrong.

The thing that saddens me is that all youngsters these days seem to thing swearing is normal in everyday speech.
There seems to be no respect from the youngsters for there elders.
Perhaps I am just old and not with it anymore

yes scum of the earth she is without doubt pathetic..

england is a small island that gives away to much that is the problem and cannot be ignored, no racism just doesn't take brains to work out we are getting very crowded

And how is this immigrants fault? Are young English people not having multiple children for benefits? We are getting crowded but so is the rest of the world. People in this country are having children, for the sake of having children too. Immigration does have a lot of benefits in a world which essentially is survival of the fittest. - Sorry if that comes as a shock to anyone, but in reality that is what it boils down to really.

Truly shocking. Wonder if it would have been different if she was sat on her own and not with a child.

The worse bit is the poor child did not flinch a bit. Wonder if it's something he's heard on a regular basis. Not a great enviroment to grow up in.

BBC are reporting that she has been arrested in connection with a racially-aggravated offence.

The funny thing is I bet that chav doesn't even work and it's all those hard working slave wages like immigrants that are supporting her.

The "pure" British as they seem to want to call themselves are nothing more but the bratty teenager ungrateful towards his hard working parents.

Some of the stuff she says is right about the state of the country, I mean look at the train but she is vile and uneducated and talking like that in front of her kid, disgusting. Racism work both ways. The problem will never be solved with attitudes like that.

Where about is it, presume its London area from her accent, couldn't understand the foreign woman?

its called Britain, not just England you know.

I think one of the most upsetting aspects of this video, is the fact that the child seems totally un-fazed by the situation.
I'm pretty sure that if I was that child, at that age, I'd have gotten pretty upset sort of knowing that my mother was shouting at a bus full of people.
It must be like this a lot of the time for this child.
Very sad.

My comment is not racist in anyway.

Domo didn't mention you unless he edited his post?

Croydon to Wimbledon tramlink according to the BBC article so yes, London sort of area.

I've not watched the video yet and I may well not, by the sounds of it it's just unnecessary and unpleasant.

I hope that the woman who thinks she's ham gets the right treatment, sounds like a serious illness.
