Hey, Meths. In the same position as you - guess I'll look for an unlocked s2 or something to swap my gnex sim into. Thanks for the tip. Have you tried Sky Sports yet? I'm guessing it might need flash anyway...?

No, runs on all phones so I'm 99% sure it's 3GPP which is a type of video that all phones, since about 2005, can play (3GPP is the codec used in video calls so in order to be a 3G phone you MUST support it).

I've not tried Sky Sport because I've read bad things about the quality.

I'm going to have a good look at what else is availlable before picking my second swapable.

Tried the sim swapout technique - thanks, Meths! Deezer works a treat but Sky Sports renders a "handset not compatible" message. Bloke in Orange store said he suspected it would be okay once Orange start selling an ICS phone. I' ll wait and see..

Hi guys and girls im new here wanted to add in my problems with swapables i have a galaxy nexus abd swapables dont work i can only choose some astrology thing after speaking to orange they have escalated the issue to the technical support team they have told me that it should hopefully get sorted but dont have a timescale which sucks

So, the sim swap works just fine for adding swapables on the Galaxy Nexus OR you can also use this technique - which also gets Sky Sports working!

Lol I'm back! I've decided to plonk with orange and how I can find enough wifi hotspots. upgrading on the 6th so ill post back then. Likely go for deezer and the evil sky sports

Does anyone know what mmserviceid it is for higher definition Sky Sports channels? I read on a vodafone forum that SSM has better quality feeds but they aren't necessarily default.

Anyone know what the above link would have told me to do? Can't see any swappables on my Nexs besides the stupid Horoscopes one.. and now the above website has been taken down!

Edit: Solved. For anyone else having this issue...

- Download Dolphin Browser HD (https://market.android.com/details?...re=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsIm1vYmkub WdlZWsuVHVubnlCcm93c2VyIl0.)

- Open it > Settings > User Agent = Custom > Copy and paste this into the field:

- Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.3.3; en-gb; GT-I9100 Build/GINGERBREAD) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1

- Login to Orange World as usual and go to the swappables section from Dolhin. The page will now be rendered differently and you should be able to add your swappables
