. its pretty clear to see that one job took by a polish man could have been took by a british person..
But, the British guy has had the same chance to get the job, and would he, or is he a lazy **** who doesn't want to work at all ?
For example, the Dutch Horticulture industry & Agriculture would never be able to flourish this much now if all the Poles left, the Dutch are far too lazy to do season work for such a pay, they don't want a job 3 months per year working 12 hr shifts for say 7 € per hr 6 days per week, but Poles gladly do it.
There are 150.000 Poles in Holland, but if they were all gone, do you think there would be 150k Dutch willing to do the same (tough physical) work, for the same rubbish pay ?
I do not believe anyone here who is looking for a job, can't get one and hold on to it. I applied for 2 jobs in my whole life. I still work at both, one of them over 3 years now, one of em a couple of months, and I'm just a student without any significant finished education (well secondary school, but I'm still an IT student for a couple of years). People who don't simply don't try hard enough, are picky, or are lazy ( around here then, in my experience). I'm a 20 year old student yet have more money to spend than some adults in their 30's, I have had 2 cars for nearly half a year ( while I was 19) for crying out loud and spent ridiculous amount of money on pointless drives, my cars, unneeded luxuries, drinking, anyone can make something of theirselves here imo. I could easily get my own place if I didn't spend needlessly on stuff and from an employers point of view I'm an un-educated little brat. So I simply don't believe it when someone of similar age in the same area as mine is whinging that he doesn't have a job and this or that or can't pay for his crap.
My opinion/conclusion:
A lot of people are lazy little rats, not all, but a significant amount could easily get a job, and immigrants have nothing to do with that.
