if you get a new fixed phone tomorrow please let me know, so i can get mine swapped.

to echo what he said to me on the phone

- bug is known issue
- o2 had a briefing on it, all staff should be aware
- they are not taking exchanges or repairs
- you can return for another phone or refund
- new 'batches' will still have the issue and will be sold with it
- ota is down to the user to apply
- phones with the bug may well be sold until the new year or stock is depleted
 
I'd buy a pouch if I planned on keeping it in a bag or something. I really don't see the point if it's just in your pocket as essentially it's just in another pocket :)
 
Can anyone access BT Openzone wifi hotspots with their Galaxy Nexus?

I didn't have an issue with my Nexus One, however the login screen doesn't appear to load on the Galaxy Nexus.

I get the following error message:

I get given an IP address from the AP but the login page will not load.

I know the wifi signal is weak but the same behaviour happens at full signal.

One thing that might be relevant. When i asked if they had stock, the immediate reply was 'is this a replacement phone'. When i said no, he replied that they were in stock. I suspect they are only sending them out for new orders.
I hope this isn't the case though as it would be totally unfair.

if your is due tomorrow, please report what version you have in 'about phone' and if you can replicate the bug...

Can you take a pic of case opening with phone fully inserted? :-)

How is it? Got one ordered, few days later though :-(

I like sleeve cases rather than placing phone bare in pocket because it limits friction wearing away the phone,and random bits in your pocket scratching it. Its probably not much of a problem in back pocket as it is front though...
 
same here buddy, i love the phone, just frustrating i know kinda don't use it as much as it feels faulty, once the fix is out im gonna fall in love again :D
