What the hell has happened to the BBC site?

I had more than one rant on the 'feedback' form when this was in BETA test.

It's utter gash in every sense of the word.

It makes it so much harder to find anything.

I wish they had spent the time it took them to do this on developing HTML5 video to replace Flash.

It's a stupid change for ruddy scene people and their silly ipads of aids.

Nothing wrong with it before, nice and simple boxes you could move around as required.

Now it's differeing sizes of pictures, half transparent screens with silly side scrolling.

I suppose the people who like it also like the olympics art works.

They are kind of on the same level of epic bad as one another.

Yeah, right on. Does anyone really believe that it is going to rain later this week? Who are the BBC working for?

Who even uses the BBC front page? news.bbc.co.uk and its respective sites then bbc.co.uk/weather is all you need.

Yet another example of the BBC's Apple love in the homepage works great on a touch screen interface they are just once again ignoring the fact that the majority of people who access there website do so via a Microsoft OS on a conventional PC/Laptop.

I even expressed my disapointment to them in feedback when the site was in beta and know from reading around the web that countless others did so as well but they have totally ignored us in favour of the apple fanboi crap they've been peddling for years!

This combined with there inability to bring iPlayer to Windows Media Centre depite finding time to wrote various Apple/Wii specific versions reall does my head in when it's tax payer money that funds them.
